The Role As a Web developer at Origin, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining websites and web applications. The work involves a blend of technical and creative skills to ensure that websites are functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing. And typically focus on either the front end, back end, or both (full-stack development).
Key Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in web design, multimedia design, or related field
● Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem-solving
● Experience in planning and developing websites across multiple products
● Proficiency in React, JavaScript, or TypeScript
● Familiarity with React Query/Redux toolkit
● Knowledge of HTTP, Browser, and build tools like Webpack, Parcel, esbuild, or vite
● Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
● Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and client-side performance
● Experience with unit/e2e tests using Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or Mocha
● Familiarity with LESS, SCSS, CSS Modules, and basic NodeJS
● Proficiency in git for version control
● Great communication skills
Responsibilities
● Create well-designed and tested code using best practices for web development, including for responsive design and displays
● Create websites and interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices, and incorporate data from back-end databases and services
