Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with hands-on experience in Zoho Books to manage our billing, collections, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting practices, GST filing, and billing management, along with the ability to coordinate with internal teams and clients regarding payments and invoices.

Key Responsibilities

·       Prepare and send invoices and quotations & engagement contracts with clients.

·       Maintain and manage the complete billing cycle.

·       Ensure accuracy in billing records and financial documentation.

·       Collections & Payment Follow-ups

·       Follow up with clients for pending payments and overdue invoices.

·       Maintain collection records and track outstanding receivables.

·       Communicate professionally with clients to resolve payment delays.

·       Address and resolve billing-related disputes with customers.

·       Coordinate with internal teams to correct billing discrepancies.

·       Work with the legal team in cases of prolonged outstanding payments.

·       Maintain documentation related to payment recovery cases.

·       Accounting & Compliance

·       Maintain financial records using Zoho Books.

·       Process monthly employee salaries.

·       Prepare and file GST returns and ensure tax compliance.

·       Assist in reconciliation and financial reporting when required.

Required Skills

·       Hands-on experience with Zoho Books.

·       Strong knowledge of GST filing and compliance.

·       Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.

·       Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.

·       Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

·       Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join our team as Finance Head. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of leadership in a startup environment.

Responsibilities:

● Develop financial forecasting models to aid in fundraising and inform strategic planning. Maintain and enhance financial models, including future projections

● Develop a financial strategy that supports the company's objectives, focusing on sustainable growth and profitability.

● Closely work with business team to evaluate product pricing, marketing campaigns, unit economics.

● Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, mentor our finance personnel, and ensure a seamless financial workflow.

● Manage treasury function and working capital planning

● Lead negotiations with partners and vendors to ensure beneficial deals, contributing

● Prepare comprehensive financial updates for internal stakeholders, investors, and tax

authorities, ensuring all reporting requirements are met.

● Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions across

● Manage fintech finance operations including reconciliation and fund flow

Ideal Candidate:

● Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field and Chartered Accountant.

● A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a startup.

● Excellent leadership and team management abilities with a track record of leading a lean team.

● Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non-financial audiences.

● High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Gather requirements by identifying user needs and recommend solution to clients.

Develop user requirement document, functional specification, user guide and training material for solutions.

Act as a liaison between development team and stakeholder throughout the implementation.

Support implementation, user acceptance testing and training activities (when required).

Analyzing, developing and proposing enhancements to current business processes, reports and applications in order to optimize system effectiveness.

Provide support in pre-sales activities with sales and marketing team, activities included analysis on RFP, provide business proposal, conduct system demo.

What you’ll need?

Candidate must at least possess a Bachelor’s Degree in IT and Business majors preferred.

Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional requirements but fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.

Must possess good knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC), practical understanding of information technology and have the ability to conceptually relate technology to business’ needs.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.

Retail domain knowledge would be a strong advantage.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The person plays a dual role of Public Relation and Influencer Manager.

Public Relations

• Combine creativity, communication, and storytelling to create meaningful public relations campaigns that promote our products/ Founders.
• Pitch stories to top-tier local and national journalists, editors, media outlets, TV, radio, podcasts, niche blogs, and other online outlets.
• Cultivate, strengthen, and maintain media relationships.
• Create media materials such as press releases, talking points, run sheets, and messaging documents.
• Seek and manage business award submissions, interview opportunities, and speaking engagements for Co-Founders.
• Secure, track, and measure results.

Influencer Marketing

• Grow and maintain relationships with influencers to create excitement and mass brand exposure across social media platforms
• Mine the social media platforms for top-tier influencers, celebrities, content creators, and talent that can increase brand reach.
• Manage and update internal influencer database to ensure platform and metrics stay updated.
• Collaborate with internal creative and social marketing teams to drive influencers to create high-quality and engaging content.
• Continually engage with existing influencers and creators via email, DMs, and phone to build strong, long-lasting relationships. Manage day-to-day communications with talent/influencers.
• Manage all influencer requests, place and track product samples requests.
• Oversee gift boxes and other special packaging needs for high-touch influencers.
• Think creatively and add new ideas to pitch for new and exciting influencer programs.

Qualifications/Skills:

• 5+ years experience in public relations, in-house, or agency.
• Course in Mass Communication.
• Strong experience writing news releases, media advisories, feature stories, blogs, and media pitches.
• Existing relationships with top-tier local and national journalists, editors, media outlets, TV, radio, podcasts, niche blogs, and influencers preferred.
• Social media wizard who is well-versed in all platforms (IG, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, TikTok, etc.) and in tune with how the influencer marketing landscape differs across each respective platform.
• Deep expertise in identifying key tastemakers, celebrity endorsers, and influencers.
• A passion for building and cultivating relationships with influencers.
