UI/UX Designer

The Opportunity

Illumine Labs, Mumbai, is building a series of innovative digital knowledge products. These products are used for learning, education, counselling, behavioural change, etc. Some examples include e-books, counselling tools, habit-creating app, etc.

We are inviting UI-UX Designers who enjoy working with knowledge, can work with a vision, and can appreciate the technology aspects of the product - to be a part of the design & build team for assembling such digital knowledge products.

Your Role

1. Rigorous thinking-through of product goals, product concept, architecture, flows, use cases, usage conditions/ constraints, etc. (in collaboration with the project team)
2. Translating into interface designs and specifications for technology, and walkthroughs, communications, if any.
3. Early testing with the project team & users and evolving it to a working solution.
4. Collaborating with the technology team to develop a working product/ application.
5. User testing with pilot groups and documentation of usage, and response to the product. Evolving the product and supporting adoption.

Who can apply

Engineers/ Architects/ Designers (or having any other background) with at least 3-4 years of experience in designing digital products.

EWar is looking for a Design Lead who can help drive the Design Team at the company. This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You'll help not only lead the EWar experience but inspire and elevate the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and taking a user experience first approach to solving problems. Your work will allow our customers to feel delighted every time they use our product.

• Lead design projects and contribute to product strategy: visually and linguistically.

Job Title: UI Design Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated UI Design Intern to join our design team at Skitbit International. The intern will work closely with our senior designers and developers to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for our digital products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of web and mobile applications
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide design solutions
• Help to maintain and improve the company's design style guide
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and web/mobile design best practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs

This is an paid internship with a stipend of 28k per month that will require a minimum of 20 hours per week. The intern will have the opportunity to work on real projects and will receive feedback and guidance from experienced designers. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the field of UI/UX design and to build a portfolio of work.

• Develop design concepts for business objectives and goals

About the Role:

• Create Visual Brand Identity

• Conceptualise a creative direction for Testing Ground’s projects
• Conceptualise and design branding/marketing materials for both print and web related marketing material
• Produce new artwork based on brand guidelines agreed with our team
• Create print and digital advertising materials

• Develop Key Visuals and Collaterals for Marketing Campaigns and Events

• Assist in the management of website, newsletters and all other company materials, where necessary
• Design all graphic, sales and marketing materials e.g. EDM / Posters / Banners
• Work with us in crafting visually compelling presentations

• Manage Design from Concept to Production

• Work according to briefs for the branding needs and guidelines
• Ensure design specifications are production-ready
• Engage with external printers or contractors/suppliers/vendors to ensure the highest quality of materials and that deadlines are met
• Proper documentation of all design files

Experience:

At least Diploma in Art/Design/Creative fields 

Skills Required:

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite especially Illustrator and Photoshop
• Familiarity in Adobe InDesign for desktop publishing
• Ability to convey company’s message in line with brand’s guidelines through original design
• Ability to create strong design concepts
• (good to have) Skilled in video editing

• (good to have) Knowledge of photo editing in Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom
