Job Summary :

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DBA to manage and optimize databases like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Redis. You’ll ensure performance, security, and availability of databases across our systems and work closely with engineering teams for support and improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and maintain MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Redis databases.
• Handle backups, restores, upgrades, and replication.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure database security and access control.
• Work on disaster recovery and high availability.
• Support development teams with schema design and tuning.
• Automate tasks using scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud (AWS) teams.

Must-Have Skills :

• 6+ Years as a DBA in production environments.
• Strong hands-on with MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis.
• Performance tuning and query optimization.
• Backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience with AWS (RDS/EC2).
• Scripting knowledge (Python/Bash).
• Good understanding of database security.

Good to Have :

• Experience with MSSQL.
• Knowledge of tools like pgAdmin, Compass, Workbench.
• Database certifications.

• Drive sales growth through consultative outbound and follow-up calls with prospective students and parents.

Client Engagement:

• Address objections, negotiate pricing, and generate sales revenue.
• Build long-term relationships with students and parents by providing excellent after-sales support.
• Conduct need analysis to recommend the most suitable programs.

Product Knowledge:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new product launches.

Reporting & Collaboration:

• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and update progress regularly.
• Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
• Provide regular feedback to management to improve sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.

Key Requirements:

● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium

We are looking for a highly skilled developer who is adept at building scalable test frameworks. • Experienced in developing flexible test frameworks and tools that substantially increase developer confidence.

In your first 3 months: Fluency

• You will develop a deep understanding of the technology stack, network traffic concepts and terminology.
• You will have developed a strong understanding and strategy for the independent nature of our testing needs.
• You will apply that strategy to design and start building an initial framework with reporting.
• You will commit multiple high-value automated tests and start the process of addressing CI failures.

In your first 6 months: Mastery

• You will contribute to design discussions and participate in code reviews. 
• You will continuously learn and expand the automation testing framework. 
• You will contribute to improving functional API documentation. 
• You will take ownership of test failures to ensure our CI system stays reliable.
• You will mentor and coordinate work with other SDETs
• You will start to explore performance and other testing areas of testing needs.

Bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of IP traffic concepts and terminology
• Experience with VoIP, Telecommunication Systems, and Communication technologies
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker or Kubernetes 
• Build automation that developers can use locally. 
• Hands-on expertise on various VoIP & TDM based testing tools like SIPp, Navtel, Spectra2 
• Experience in load testing complex real-time communication platforms
