autonomous world. Rich data in large volumes is getting collected at the edge(outside a datacenter) in use cases like autonomous vehicles, smart manufacturing, satellite imagery, smart retail, smart agriculture etc. These datasets are characterized by being
unstructured(images/videos), large size(Petabytes per month), distributed(across edge, on- prem and cloud) and form the input for training AI models to get to higher degrees of automation.

Skills required:

1. Strong JavaScript fundamentals.
2. Good understanding of ES6 and other next gen JavaScript constructs.
3. Understanding of the nuances of JavaScript like async programming using promises and
callbacks, scope, closures, higher order functions as well as object oriented
programming.
4. A good understanding of reactive programming using frameworks such as Vue, Angular or React and state management for complex, multi component views.
6. Ability to write DRY code, and create reusable components with a good separation of
concerns.
7. Familiarity with build tools. Knowledge of build and packaging using webpack or other
similar tools.
8. Good understanding of CSS and HTML, basics of UI design and experience with
designing a responsive and intuitive UI.
9. Proficiency with browser based dev tools for debugging logic, performance, network and
other issuess
10. Knowledge of web fundamentals such as Http, REST API design etc.
11. Data Modelling and basics of relational and NoSQL databases.
12. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with high level and sometimes ambiguous
requirements, interacting with multiple stakeholders to drive a feature to completion.

Good to have:

1. Typescript, SASS, SCSS, Testing tools - such as jest, jasmine, mocha
2. Familiarity with Vue JS and it's ecosystem - Vuex, Vue Router, Quasar / Vuetify or other
similar component libraries.
3. Familiarity with a hybrid mobile application development library / framework such as
cordova, phone gap, ionic, sencha touch etc.

5. Wireframing experience with tools such as Balsamiq, Sketch, InVision or similar

Desired Candidate profile

● Architect and build scalable front-end web solutions using JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and other fundamental web technologies. 
● Build reusable code and libraries using iterative development practices for future use

● Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop. 
● Implement monitoring, metric dashboards, runbooks, logging, escalations, and alerts.

● Drive code and design reviews of components / systems / products in scope and drive the architectural governance for them. 
● Implement best practices and constantly learn new ways of keeping code bases up to date 
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

● A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field) from reputed institutes 
● 4+ years of development experience in modern web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript), frameworks (React, Backbone.js, AngularJS, , etc) 
● Ability to build a feature from scratch & drive it to completion 
● Prior hands-on experience in building responsive web interfaces at scale for consumers in a product engineering setup 
● Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system 
● Excellent problem solving, debugging and optimization skills 
● Strong knowledge of browser behavior, performance, compatibility and cross-browser issues 
● Good understanding of REST API 
● Familiar with front-end build tools, such as Webpack, Grunt and Gulp.js
● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git 
● Open source contribution is a plus. 

Job Title: Vue.JS Developer
The Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Vue.js front-end developer to join our growing company. You will work as
part of a team to develop fast, well-tested, and performant code for various web and mobile
applications using Vue.js. As a Vue.js front-end developer, you will be expected to work with standard
programming tools such as version control and deployment software, follow industry best practices,
write tests for the code you write, and follow all applicable coding guidelines.
Your duties will include taking part in daily scrums, writing and developing modules for existing Vue
applications, integrating Vue into existing projects, writing code and tests for code, taking part in code
review sessions, and using version control software to push and pull code for testing and deployment.

Responsibilities
 Write performant code using core Vue, Vuex, and Vue Router to create websites and web
applications
 Create tests for code written by yourself and other web developers, full-stack developers, and
software engineers
 Integrate Vue into legacy projects
 Diagnose and fix bugs and other software defects in new and existing Vue applications
 Run code optimization tools and analyzers to spot and refactor inefficiencies to create highly
performant code

Skill Sets:
 Bachelor’s degree or several years of experience in e-commerce, computer science, or other
related fields
 Strong understanding of JavaScript and React JS, including the latest revisions of ECMAScript
 Good knowledge of the Vue.js framework and related components such as Vuex and Vue Router
 Experience with standard tools and services in JavaScript front-end development and software
development, such as Git, GitHub, HTML5, Laravel, Angular, Node.js, and npm
 The ability to work as part of a team, taking ownership of individual components and following
coding guidelines to create performant components that fit into more-comprehensive projects
 An understanding of advanced JavaScript concepts, such as dealing with asynchronous requests

 Experience with integrating and maintaining external software libraries and APIs using a
command-line interface and package managers
