UI Developer

Position Overview:

As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative user interfaces and ensuring the seamless integration of design and functionality. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, SCSS, HTML, frontend architecture design, and design concepts

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design and development teams to translate UI/UX designs into interactive web pages or applications.

Develop responsive web interfaces and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using best practices and coding standards.

Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues.

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend interfaces with server-side logic.

Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and frameworks.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 1.5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.

Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Solid understanding of frontend architecture design patterns and concepts.

Experience with frontend frameworks like Redux, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

Knowledge of version control systems (e. g., Git) and project management tools (e. g., Jira).

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience building Salesforce AppExchange apps to lead the development of Salesforce connectors for our marketing technology products.

What would you do?

·      Take a lead role in the design and implementation of Shopify connectors for our marketing products.

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing application requirements, determining features, creating customer-friendly solutions, and determining support needs and performance requirements. 

·      Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy software to satisfy these requirements. 

·      Work according to the agile programming application development methodology adhered to including test-first, iterative development, and continuous re-prioritization.  

·      Support the maintenance of our hosted technology solutions. 

·      Work with other team members in accomplishing group objectives and participating in code reviews. 

·      Ensure timely and robust implementation of the company’s development plans.

·      Ensure that all relevant parties are kept up to date on progress of projects and give feedback on an ongoing basis. 

·      Contribute to the review, selection, and adoption of proprietary tools and technologies. 

·      Use specialist knowledge and experience of information technology to provide technical advice and vision.

Technical Skills

Experience

·      3+ years’ experience in web application design and development 

·      Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience 

Primary Skills

·      Strong background in Front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc. 

·      Experience with node.js

·      An understanding of User Experience and a background in building intuitive interfaces. 

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·      Experience with Shopify integrations.

·      Experience building native apps for other platforms.

·      Experience with Salesforce APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, etc.

·      AWS ecosystem and tools, particularly developing for serverless environments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working with designers, product managers to collaboratively own the front-end layer at FalconBrick and deliver stellar end user experiences
• Building responsive and elegant mobile and desktop web UIs
• Test, debug and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle
• Architect, develop and maintain front-end libraries

Desired Candidate Profile

• You love working with JavaScript and are very familiar with JavaScript design patterns and can build fairly complex UI
• Have at least 2 years experience in development of responsive web/mobile applications using advanced JS and web technologies
• And with at least 1 year of experience building frontend UI with a framework like ReactJS
• Youre very comfortable in writing HTML and CSS and love designing beautiful webpages
• Have good communication skills, strong work ethics And are comfortable with agile, iterative development practices and code reviews
