UI Developer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled SDE 2 React Web Developer to join its dynamic engineering team. As an SDE 1, the developer will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing features for the web platform using React. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications that offer an exceptional experience to Revv's users.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web applications using React.js and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver new features and improve existing ones.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring a high level of code quality.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in web development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
• Familiarity with version control systems, primarily Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Basic experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Enzyme.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• As a lead engineer, you will be expected to execute and deliver large and complex projects end-to-end, with or without the involvement of other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, app architecture, and design discussions.
• Ensuring timely delivery of all product deliverables.
• Be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting. 
• Mentoring junior developers and set best practices for coding, reviews, etc.
• Ensuring performance and scalability in all new product features being developed. 

• Overall of 5+ years expertise in writing HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
• Experience in Angular and preferably React.js
• Expertise in database modeling, preferably relational DB, spotting DB bottlenecks, and writing optimized DB queries.
• Expertise in all common AWS cloud technologies, knowledge of CI/CD tools, and workflows.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Skills required :

• Strong knowledge of javascript programming, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, ES6 Strong knowledge of modern responsive design techniques
• Strong knowledge of stateless microservices (node/java/etc..), HTTPS/REST, JSON, Webpack/Grunt/Gulp
• Very good understanding and implementation experience of web application UI using OpenID Connect login/authentication
• Version Control – Git, CI/CD of UI projects(e.g. CircleCI, Travis CI, Jenkins), configuration and deployment of static UI assets

Must have skills :

• Must have at least 4 years of industry experience in white labeled Front End web application design & development
• Experience in Test Driven Development, Front End testing and performance optimization (e.g. Jest, unit testing, end-to-end testing)

• - Contribute to a full development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and on-going technical support.
• - Work closely with the existing team to learn the current application architecture, design and understand its functionalities and complexities.
• - Bridge the gap between graphic design and backend technical implementation
• - Build modular, responsive templates using modern CSS techniques
• - Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code
• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies.

• - 2+ years of industry experience as a Front End Developer Engineer
• - Degree in Computer Science or related field
• - Experience with developing web and mobile applications
• - Extensive knowledge HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript / jQuery / Bootstrap / ReactJS, AngularJS
• - Strong experience in JSON/XML and REST/SOAP based Web Service based integration.
• - Experience (mandatory) with working Web Framework versions with exposure to creating components and handling AJAX calls.
• - Good to have knowledge in JIRA, GIT.
• - Strong knowledge of Client-Server Architecture.
• - Basic Proficiency with Python or relevant back-end scripting language
