React - Software Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our engineering team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality web applications, collaborating with designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Implementation

• Build responsive, performant web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs from mockups and wireframes
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across devices and browsers
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with backend teams to define API requirements

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs into functional interfaces
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
• Contribute to technical discussions and help make architectural decisions

Quality & Maintenance

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices
• Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and best practices
• Improve existing codebases through refactoring and optimization

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience in frontend development
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue, Angular)
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less) or CSS-in-JS solutions
• Knowledge of modern build tools and package managers (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn)
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, Zustand)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing relevant projects

UI Developer :

Experience in developing Web Applications/websites using HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap4 or above is essential

Experience in CSS preprocessors like Less, Sass

Experience in developing Responsive and Mobile First design products/websites using wireframes & mock-ups is essential

Experience in tailwind CSS is a must (config, create custom util function)

Experience in the latest design principles and animations is essential

Experience in Photoshop / Sketch tools and collaborative products like Invision / Figma is desirable

A fair understanding of JavaScript programming / Jquery is essential

Experience in working with React

Good knowledge of web standards and SEO principles is desirable

• REQUIREMENTS

  • Write hand-coded HTML5, JS, and CSS(SCSS) that is thoroughly standards-compliant.

  • Solid Javascript experience.

    -Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

  • You know how to architect all components of a frontend project

  • You have experience reading API documentation and working with different endpoints to compose the desired effect

  • You know how to run projects through solid processes (things like code reviews, reviewing stories, planning)

  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

  • Picks up new technologies quickly and efficiently

  • Uses Git effectively

  • Know how to create tests and why it's important

  • Knowledge of OOP and software design principles

  • You know how to optimize frontend load times, debug rendering issues, and overall provide a smooth experience to the user.

  • Knowledge of responsive frontends

  • You don't have to be an expert in backend tech, but you'll need to understand how to integrate with the backend guys.

  • Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
