The Role :

We're looking for a passionate frontend developer intern who wants to build products that real businesses depend on daily. You'll work on both our customer-facing mobile app (React Native) and restaurant dashboard (Next.js), shipping features that directly impact how thousands of diners and hundreds of restaurants interact.

This isn't a shadowing role—you'll own real features from day one, working closely with our founding team.

What You'll Work On :

• Build customer mobile app features in React Native 
• Develop restaurant dashboard components in Next.js 
• Optimize performance and implement state management using Redux/Zustand
• Translate Figma designs into responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces

What We're Looking For :

Must Have :

• Strong JavaScript fundamentals 
• Hands-on experience with React
• Understanding of component lifecycle, hooks, and state management
• Git basics and collaborative development workflows
• Ability to translate designs into clean, reusable components

Nice to Have :

• Experience with React Native or Next.js
• Knowledge of Redux, Zustand, or other state management libraries
• Understanding of REST APIs and TypeScript
• Contributions to open source projects

Internship Details :

Duration: 6-12 months (with potential for full-time conversion)

Stipend: ₹25,000/month

Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Lead frontend architecture and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance.

- Drive the development of high-quality web applications using React.js, Next.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript

practices.

- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and technical discussions.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, designers, and product managers.

- Optimize frontend performance, SEO, accessibility, and responsiveness.

- Maintain a reusable component library with adherence to design systems and frontend best practices.

- Define and enforce coding standards and development workflows.

- Stay updated with the latest frontend trends and bring innovation to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in frontend development with React.js (including at least 1 year in a lead or

mentoring role)

- Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with Redux, Next.js, RESTful APIs, and component-driven development

- Proficient with UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Material-UI, or Bootstrap

- Familiar with testing tools like Jest, React Testing Library

- Exposure to backend fundamentals or APIs (Node.js, Java, Python - a plus)

- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities

Nice to Have :

- Experience with other frontend frameworks like Vue.js or Angular

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8-12 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proven experience with React.js and related technologies (e.g., Redux, React Router, Hooks, Context API).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Server Sent Events, WebSockets
• Hand’s on experience with web components, microfrontends
• Deep understanding of browser apis like history, intersectionobserver, event handling, virtual panes, drag and drop etc
• Ability to work on a complex and fast moving code base.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with React applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

We are looking for a Product Engineer - Senior or Lead Frontend Engineer to join our early stage startup with experience in building B2C products. 

If you have experience of working in product based companies (preferably startups), good to excellent coding skills in react js and typescript, have a keen eye for details in the UI, and are looking to build exciting things that children across the world will use - come talk to us!
