About the Role

As a Frontend Developer, you’ll be working on building responsive and interactive user interfaces that delight customers. You’ll translate design concepts into clean, efficient code and collaborate with backend developers and designers.

Work Mode & Schedule

Remote, 10 AM – 7 PM, Mon–Sat (own PC + reliable internet + availability on Zoom/Meet/Teams).

Compensation Note

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the frontend components of the Camera AI and gym & trainer management software.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into functional, responsive web applications.
• Ensure the applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement user interfaces that provide a seamless experience, including real-time data visualization, interactive elements, and responsive design.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and performance of the applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and apply them to enhance our products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with responsive design principles and front-end optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with WebRTC or other real-time communication technologies.
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Be a key player in the entire application development lifecycle, build and maintain excellent react applications with clean code
• Formulating an effective process to implement pixel-perfect UI's that match designs.
• Generating front-end libraries and reusable components for later use.

• An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, similar as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
• Discussing and implementing new project management ideas with team and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.
• Keep abreast with day to day developments in technology and working with native modules.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer applications or related fields.
• Proven working experience as a React Developer for 3+ years and above.
• Hands-on experience on  HTML5, CSS3, and  CSS frameworks.
• Demonstrable knowledge on  Web services, Web API, REST services & GraphQL.
• Expertise in UI design and development of responsive web applications using React, Redux, Flask and Hooks.
• Applicable knowledge on Social API integration, Core location APIs, Web Views, Payments integration
• Proficiency in understanding of layout aesthetics .

• You primarily identify as a Frontend Engineer or a UI Engineer and are comfortable working on the browser side of things with 7+ years experience (preferably from B2C startup companies).
• You can build accessible interfaces with semantic HTML, CSS, and Javascript.  
• You can build reusable, performant, and well-tested web applications that are responsive and work across various devices and platforms.  
• You can build features from scratch which are modular and scalable. You don’t hesitate to take them from design to implementation.
• You have shipped code to production recently and regularly.
• You are experienced in working with using modern web frameworks, like React, Vue, and friends. We use React but prefer people with strong web concepts and fundamentals who are open to learning any framework/library. 
• You are fluent in using the tools of the trade: editors, git, command line, Slack, Jira (unfortunately yes)
