About the role

Webnyay is looking for an experienced Backend Developer to build and scale reliable backend systems for our legal tech platform. You will work on core product architecture, high-performance APIs, and cloud-native services that support AI-driven workflows and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Python, Django, and FastAPI
• Build scalable APIs and microservices for product features
• Implement event-driven and asynchronous workflows using Kafka
• Design and maintain backend integrations and data pipelines
• Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of backend systems
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver production-ready features

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django and FastAPI
• Experience working with Kafka or similar messaging systems
• Working knowledge of GCP and cloud-based deployments
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and API design
• Experience with databases and production systems

• Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Business Unit and under the guidance of Recruiting Manager to close all open position requirements
• Research and identify the most suitable platforms and options for sourcing relevant profiles
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications for sourcing relevant profiles
• Responsible to screen candidates resumes and job applications with regards to relevant knowledge, technical skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates and find the right-fit profile
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Should be able to close open position requirements within the set time-frame
• Should be able to conduct background or reference checks on job applicants, particularly those who will be given job offers
• Connect with the candidates whom the joining offer has been made and ensure they convert to full-time employee

Responsibilities

· Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.

· Training, mentoring and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.

· Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.

Requirements

• 5+ years PHP development experience required with PHP, MVC, CMS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, MySQL

Desired Candidate Profile:

• The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of relationship management, strong analytical, business and technical skills.
• 6-10 years of overall delivery related (pre-sales, solutioning, delivery management or customer account management) experience preferably in the Cybersecurity/SaaS/hi-tech products.
• 2+ years experience in customer facing roles with customers in US/Europe/ME geographies.
• Ability to internalize the product offerings and can discuss solutions, benefits and trade-offs with the customers.
• Ability to build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with Business and Technology Decision Makers within each customer to influence solution adoption, create strong support for new opportunities and to secure their willingness to advocate on our products.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Experienced at account management & growth through farming.
• Experienced at leading presentations and discussions with customer’s senior management teams
• Highly energetic, with a passion for helping customers achieve expected business outcomes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree from Top institutes. MBA preferred
2. Excellent organization and project management capability
3. Excellent communications skills, both in written and verbal communications, with the ability to deliver effective presentations, group facilitation and one-on-one consultation is a must
4. Self started, self motivated, flexible and results driven
5. Experience using CRM tools

Preferred knowledge/skills:

1. Experience in Cybersecurity and understanding of network fundamentals. Good understanding of IT and Network Security fundamentals such as Firewalls, Proxies, and Web Security Gateways.
2. Experience working/leading teams in customer success functions for SaaS products.
