Job Role:

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data
• Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.
• Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations
• Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality.
• Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.
  
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

This person MUST have:

• B.E Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ Years of hands-on experience troubleshooting/setting up of the Linux environment, who can write shell scripts for any given requirement.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience setting up/configuring AWS or GCP services from SCRATCH and maintaining them.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience setting up/configuring Kubernetes & EKS and ensuring high availability of container orchestration.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience setting up CICD from SCRATCH in Jenkins & Gitlab.
• Experience configuring/maintaining one monitoring tool.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Candidates with certifications - AWS, GCP, CKA, etc will be preferred
• Hands-on experience with databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, RDS).

Experience:

• Min 3 years of experience as SRE automation engineer building, running, and maintaining production sites. Not looking for candidates who have experience only as L1/L2 or Build & Deploy..

Location:

• Remotely, anywhere in India

Timings:

• The person is expected to deliver with both high speed and high quality as well as work for 40 Hours per week (~6.5 hours per day, 6 days per week) in shifts which will rotate every month.

Job Responsibilities:

• You’ll streamline and automate the software development and infrastructure management processes and play a crucial role in executing high-impact initiatives and continuously improving processes to increase the effectiveness of our platforms.
• You’ll translate complex use cases into discrete technical solutions in platform architecture, design and coding, functionality, usability, and optimization.
• You will drive automation in repetitive tasks, configuration management, and deliver comprehensive automated tests to debug/troubleshoot Cloud AWS-based systems and BigData applications.
• You’ll continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize the development and operational efficiency of the platforms.
• You’ll determine the metrics that will define technical and operational success and constantly track such metrics to fine-tune the technology stack of the organization.

Experience: 4 to 8 Yrs

Qualification: B.Tech / MCA

Required Skills:

• Experience with Linux/UNIX systems administration and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes and container orchestration, Web servers (Nginx, Apache), Application Servers(Tomcat,Node.js,..), document stores and relational databases (AWS RDS-MySQL).
• Site Reliability Engineering patterns and visibility /performance/availability monitoring (Cloudwatch, Prometheus)
• Background in and happy to work hands-on with technical troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Supportive and collaborative personality - ability to influence and drive progress with your peers

• Person must have performed Application Architect Role for 3+ years
• AWS platform specific experience a bonus.
