Urgent opening for Product Manager

Location – Mumbai (WFO)

Position Overview:

Product Manager, who reports and directly works with the VP Operations and manages end to end product life cycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the development team to deliver winning products in line with organization’s core values and ethics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Automate workflows for Caregivers and Patients.
• Gathers, manages, and prioritizes business requirements..
• Works closely with Technology, Sales, Marketing, and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures.
• Develops positioning for improving the app experience of gig workers
• Helps optimize conversion of leads from our own website.
• Contribute your expertise to product documentation, training materials and marketing collateral for each product offering.

Education and Experience:

Selection based on expertise and depth of domain in B2C sectors preferably startups which catering to target centric hyper-growth organizations. However prior experience of1-2years in Consumer Product Development/ Digital Consumer Product would be preferable.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer/Product Person to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and delivering successful products in the healthcare industry. You will work on full end-to-end enterprise applications and leverage your expertise in Java development and AWS to drive innovation and create solutions that address our customers' needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and reliable Java applications.
• Take ownership of the product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
• Implement best practices for software development, code reviews, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance, functionality, and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in healthcare IT.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering successful products in the healthcare industry.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming and hands-on experience with Java frameworks and libraries.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with full end-to-end enterprise application development.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies, particularly AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations, such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, or GDPR.
• Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies, such as Python, JavaScript, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

    Focussed on delivering scalable performant database platforms that underpin our customer data services in a dynamic and fast-moving agile engineering environment.

·    Experience with different types of enterprise application databases (PostgreSQL a must)

·    Familiar with developing in a Cloud environment (AWS RDS, DMS & DevOps highly desirable).

·    Proficient in using SQL to interrogate, analyze and report on customer data and interactions on live systems and in testing environments.

·    Proficient in using PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL

·    Experienced in delivering deployments and infrastructure as code with automation tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, etc.

·    Comfortable using code hosting platforms for version control and collaboration. (git, github, etc)

·    Exposed to and have an opportunity to master automation and learn to use technologies and tools like Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform, GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins, Packer, Bash Scripting, Python, Groovy, and Ansible

·    Comfortable leading complex investigations into service failures and data abnormalities that touch your applications.

·    Experience with Batch and ETL methodologies.

·    Confident in making technical decisions and acting on them (within reason) when under pressure. 

·    Calm dealing with stakeholders and easily be able to translate complex technical scenarios to non-technical individuals.

·    Managing incidents, problems, and change in line with best practice

·    Expected to lead and inspire others in your team and department, drive engineering best practice and compliance, strategic direction, and encourage collaboration and transparency.

1. You should be able to understand product specifications and know how to convert business requirements into user journeys and wireframes. 
2. Able to create personas through user research and data. 
3. Adept in developing wireframes and prototypes around customer needs.
4. Use various UX processes to fefine the right interaction model and evaluate its success
5. Work with UI designers to implement attractive designs
6. Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
7. Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends

This is a pure UX role and does not require any prior experience in visuals and graphics.
