Job Title: Devops+Java Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Mode of work- Hybrid (3 days work from office)

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Java+ DevOps Engineer to help enhance and maintain our infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development combined with expertise in DevOps practices, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.



Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficient in Java programming language and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

 Exp: 4+ Strong C/C++/C#/.net Core development skills with a good understanding of object-

oriented and multi-threaded design.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable server-side applications using PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, and Laravel framework.
2. Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Develop and integrate APIs, web services, and third-party services to enhance application functionality and connectivity.
4. Ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components, optimizing performance and user experience.
5. Identify and troubleshoot issues, debugging and resolving defects to maintain application stability.
6. Conduct thorough testing of backend components, performing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
7. Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain applications on production servers, monitoring performance and addressing scalability concerns.
8. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in backend development, and recommend improvements to enhance overall system architecture.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to ensure successful project execution.
10. Document technical specifications, project details, and code changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven working experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, and Laravel with 2-4 years of experience.
3. In-depth understanding of backend development principles, including server-side logic, database management, and API integration.
4. Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, and experience with Laravel framework.
5. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
6. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to debug and resolve complex issues.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with other backend frameworks, such as Express.js or Symfony.
2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design principles.
4. Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, such as PHPUnit or Jest.

  • Familiar with Document Store Databases (like Cosmos DB / Mongo DB).
  • Knowledge in Modular Architecture and Microservices.

  • Knowledge of any cloud services AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding of ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
  • Experience with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).

Position: Backend Developer 1 / Backend Engineer:

Location: Bangalore

Experience:  .5 to 4 years, preferably in an agile environment

Strong Knowledge Node.js and MongoDB
Good Knowledge on Flask, SQL and other databases
Good Knowledge on Deployment Process (Nginix, Docker, AWS, Digital Ocean)
Basic Knowledge on Python

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Strong knowledge of Asp.Net MVC, C#, MVC, JavaScript and JQuery.

2. Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.

3. Prepare test-based applications for various Dot Net applications.

4. Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.

5. Manage defect tracking systems and resolve all issues and prepare an update for systems.

6. Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.

Skills Required:
