• Work very closely with the Head of Engineering and the CEO directly
• Own major parts of our tech stack (Node.js/React.js) and your job will be focused primarily on backend (Node/SQL/MQs etc.), but with some front-end JS work (React) as needed
• Design, code, and deliver top-quality software that performs beautifully at scale

• This job is based in Chennai (NOT Remote). But we have a lot of flexibility for when life situations require you to work from home

A Bit About You.

• Really strong in Javascript especially in Node.js with at least 5 years of experience - if you are genuinely not super strong, please do not apply as you will find our interviews challenging and it might be a waste of your time
• Also has React.js experience so that you can support the front-end work as needed
• A strong Engineer who LIKES building software - not just someone who knows the frameworks and can code
• We don't care about college degrees or if you are self taught - we only care that you're exceptional in your work and can be professional
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be organized, and deliver their own work within deadlines, professionally

•  10-14 years of hands-on experience working on Web Full Stack technologies, with at least 4-6 years of experience developing applications with/on React/NextJS, NoSQL, REST APIs
•  Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeDcript (ES6), NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, CSS Preprocessors, Webpack, Gulp
•  Client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks – jQUery, ReactJS, Redux, Babel, JSX

Full Stack WordPress Developer with 5-8 years of proven experience in WordPress development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, with expertise in API integration, data manipulation, and data visualization. This role will involve building robust WordPress solutions from the ground up, integrating third-party APIs, and creating visually engaging data representations in the admin dashboard.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and frontend components

Implement backend functionality using PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies

Integrate third-party APIs and manipulate data to meet project requirements

Design and implement data visualization solutions using charts and graphs in the WordPress admin dashboard

Ensure seamless integration of frontend designs into WordPress

Work with cross-functional teams including project managers and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget

Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, providing timely resolutions

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and Full Stack development

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5-8 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development as a Full Stack Developer

Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL

Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries such as Bootstrap, React, Vue.js, or Angular

Proven track record of developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, and frontend/backend components

Experience with API integration and data manipulation

Experience

Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience building applications in NodeJS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Apollo - GraphQL and React
• Strong and mandatory experience of 2 years of experience in building applications using the Microservices architecture in NodeJS
• Strong and mandatory skills in Automating Components, Perceptibility, Configuration Management, Debugging & Consistency while writing Microservices.
• Experience building applications using NestJS or similar frameworks is a major plus 
• Experience building applications and service integrations using Apollo /  GraphQL
• Adhere to best practices of engineering by writing high-quality code.
• Hands on experience in Elastic Search and related technologies
• Hands on experience with one or more testing frameworks such as  Jest
• You are required to write / conduct unit & integration testing to ensure code meets high-quality standards
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Production Support, BAs, Architect, Project Managers, and Product Owners to deliver high quality solutions.
• Develop, build, configure and unit test solutions from low level designs
• Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation
• Perform all work to agreed time, cost and quality constraints
• Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented
• Design, develop, test and document detailed technical specifications for application components built using MERN (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS) stack and integrations
• Develop and maintain high traffic / high performance React and Node based e-commerce web applications and web services, including support for mobile
• Participate in support activities to help UI developers integrate with APIs / services
• Create and maintain scalable infrastructure leveraging modern AWS cloud platforms
• Knowledge of all development aspects within an Agile SDLC framework, including; estimation, design, development, unit test, code reviews, and documentation
• Develop solutions that satisfy business requirements as outlined in user stories, and within agreed upon timelines
• Ensure solutions are of high-quality with regards to following standards and best practices, as well as satisfying security and performance requirements

• Knowledge of GOLANG is a major plus
• Good understanding of the Twelve-factor App methodology is a major plus
• Experience defining new architectures and ability to drive project from an architecture standpoint is a major plus

• Experience in understanding platforms & key AWS services like Elastic Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, ECS, AWS Fargate, EKS, EC2, S3 etc. is a major plus

Major Responsibilities:

• Incumbent will be architecting our mypay Portal products and choosing the best technologies, components and subsystems on different server side tech.
• Driving innovations in the product constantly to remain ahead of the curve.
• Serve as a thought leader and mentor on technical, architectural, design and related issues.
• Proactively identify architectural weaknesses and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and build products spanning across multiple teams to deliver end-to-end products & features.
• Estimates efforts, identifies risks, devises and meets project schedules.
• Provide functional, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.

Qualifications.

• 5+ Years relevant software development experience, with a Full Stack profile (experience in front-end, back-end, integration, cloud automation and orchestration)
• proficient in Functional & Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns with expertise in various cloud-native technologies (MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Graph QL, etc).
• Knowledge of Nodejs, Javascripts and other programming languages and frameworks is must.
• Experience using Cloud Native CI/CD tools (aws Pipelines/ aws codebuild).
• Experience in test driven development & writing of unit and integration tests is a must
• Demonstrated ability of design and development of applications/ products utilizing a variety of architecture principles, including a microservices serverless
• Experience working in agile teams with demonstrated application of the principles.
• Demonstrable proficiency in developing complex JavaScript applications.
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in a fluid environment.
