Tech Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Executive to support our sales and partnership initiatives. This role will involve identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and assisting in the execution of strategic growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead Generation & Outreach:

• Identify potential clients, business opportunities, and partnership leads.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.
• Reach out to prospective clients via email, LinkedIn, and calls.

✅ Sales & Client Engagement:

• Assist in pitching products/services to potential clients and partners.
• Support in preparing presentations, proposals, and sales reports.
• Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Strategic Growth & Market Expansion:

• Help develop new strategies to improve business growth.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute sales-driven campaigns.
• Explore collaborations with brands, corporates, and eCommerce platforms.

✅ Operational Support & Reporting:

• Track and analyze sales performance metrics.
• Provide insights and feedback on improving sales strategies.
• Assist in follow-ups and scheduling client meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

✔️ Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

✔️ Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

✔️ Ability to research, analyze, and identify business opportunities.

✔️ Basic knowledge of sales and marketing concepts.

✔️ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools is a plus.

✔️ Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.

You will be responsible for developing features on the application and integrations end to end. You will be working closely with the Technical Team to come up with high-quality, resilient, and highly performant applications.

• Design and develop SaaS-based applications based on microservices architecture.
• Work on the core backend and ensure it meets the performance benchmarks.
• API and Integrations.
• Designing and developing APIs for the front end to consume.
• Constantly improve the architecture of the application by clearing the technical backlog.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Work on the front end with ReactJS is a plus point.

• An enthusiastic individual with the following skills. We are open to promising candidates who are passionate about their work and are team players.
• A subset of the below skills should be fine as long as you are good.
• OAuth, API Integrations.
• Overall 6+ yrs of experience.
• Agnostic/Polyglot with multiple tech stacks.
• Worked on open source technologies – NodeJS, ReactJS, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, CouchDB, DynamoDB, Clickhouse, Kafka.
• Backend exposure – good knowledge of building and integrating APIs.
• Efficient in building microservices in combining server & front-end.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding skills on OAuth.
• Should have sound working experience with relational and columnar DB.
• Should be innovative and communicative in approach.
• Will be responsible for functional/technical track of a project.

You will closely work with the engineering team and support the Product Team of Plum.

Required Skills:

• Expert in Python and Django framework
• Expert in developing backend applications with RESTful APIs Using Django Rest Framework
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, ReactJS , HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Proficient understanding of GitHub
• Strong programming basics, with a clear understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with global teams to define and deliver on projects.
