About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-based ETL tools, Azure ecosystem, and advanced SQL skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in validating complex data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute ETL test plans, test cases, and test scripts for cloud-based data pipelines.
• Perform data validation, transformation, and reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Work extensively with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and related Azure services.
• Develop and run complex SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and validation.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform regression, functional, and performance testing of ETL processes.
• Identify defects, log them, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to data quality and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ETL testing, preferably with cloud-based ETL tools.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.
• Advanced SQL query writing and performance tuning skills.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data models, and data governance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, PySpark, or automation frameworks for ETL testing.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations.

• 0-2 years of experience or training received as a Software Tester for web and mobile applications or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Test case preparation and Covering Test Scenarios.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills to present findings to team members.
• Analyze client requirements for validity and feasibility
• Good logical and analytical thinking
• Execute all levels of testing - Software Tester - Manual testing
• Detect and track defects and inconsistencies
• Experience with Restful API services
• Strong Knowledge in using the JIRA tool.

Looking for a Lead/Senior Tester. This role is a mix of Managerial + Testing. A prior experience in handling teams is good.
Must have minimum 2 years of Manual experience with 2 years of Automation.
Knowledge of testing webapps is must.

Candidate must have good communication skills.

Experience in Selenium or cypress is must.

Prior background of financial application is good to have

Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities.

Job Description:

• Works with team to drive improvements in code quality via manual testing
• Works to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed corporate quality goals
• Delivers on capabilities for the product suite automation strategy
• Develops manual and automated test cases and configurations needed to meet testing of business requirements
• Executes test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing 
• Generates test data to support the requirements and test case for various test phases
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards
• Creates logs to document testing phases and defects
• Monitors and tracks resolution of defects and takes part in daily standup 
• Designs, monitors, and analyzes quality assurance metrics such as defect, defect counts, test results, and test status
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative testing technologies and techniques
• Looks beyond the obvious for continuous improvement opportunities

Qualification and Experience Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of experience in Technology, with an emphasis on QA, and proven ability in writing test cases, running functional or performance tests, and managing defects
• Solid experience in test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing
• Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate & report software application issues
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
• Working knowledge of test management software like Jira
• Strong in analytical skills and should be a team player
• Competent in executing test cases and passionate about quality
• Ability to handle conflict effectively

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience of 5+ years working as a Quality Assurance Analyst
• Experience with test management tools such as Quality Centre, JIRA, ADO.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium
• Knowledge of Non-Functional testing - Accessibility, Performance
• Educated to degree level, ideally in Computer Science
• ISEB certification in Testing (intermediate level) is advantageous
• Experience in participating in process change is advantageous
• Experience testing commercial websites in a creative and/or agency environment is advantageous
• Experience testing native iOS and Android applications is advantageous

QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS

• 5+ years’ industry experience.

• Professional written and verbal communication.

• 2+ yrs experience with manual testing on mobile (automation testing is an advantage) 
• Manual testing experience in testing for Android & iOS is MUST
• JIRA or other bug tracking tool experience 
• The QA Analyst will be expected to complete manual testing on both iOS and Android devices, be able to enter findings into Jira, and follow up on defects discovered
• PRD Reviews, Test Case coverage and Execution, able to handle End to End Application testing and release process.
• API testing experience and Basic SQL knowledge
• ADB commands, Android Studio, Xcode, Understanding Logs, SDK’s.
• Work as part of cross functional, passionate agile project teams to ensure quality is maintained.                                                                                                                Good To Have Skills :
