Job Description: Head - Business Development: Industrial Goods

Department: Industrial Sales Reports To: CBO (Chief Business Officer)

Position Overview

The Head of Industrial Business Development role focus on identifying Opportunities of Transportation & Distribution in industries such as: Heavy Equipment & Machinery, Commodities, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Steel, PSU’s, etc and convert it into long terms business opportunities for the Group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy and Planning

o Develop and implement BD strategy to achieve organizational goals.

o Identify and target new business opportunities in relevant sectors.

2. Market and Competitor Analysis

o Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the industrial sector.

o Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to counteract threats.

3. Client Relationship Management

o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

o Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.

o Address and resolve client issues and complaints in a timely manner.

4. Sales Operations

o Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

o Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

o Implement and manage CRM systems to track and report on sales activities.

5. Team Leadership and Management

o Set sales targets for self and Team, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.

o Foster a high-performance culture within the team.

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

 Minimum of 15 years of experience in industrial sales/account management/operations, with a proven track record.

 Strong knowledge of the industrial sector and its products/services.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

 Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

 Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

 Ability to travel as required.

Note:- Angular developer with any combination will do for eg- Angular Dev with PHP, Angular Dev with Java or dotnet will also do. They should have worked on Angular 6 or any version above that

Mentoring teams to carry forward recognised and optimised solutions, building conducive environments for knowledge transfer and maintaining standards in terms of deliveries form a major part of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust scalable database systems
• Design, build and deploy internal applications to support our native technical ecosystem
• Collaborate with Subject-Matter experts to design data-driven modules for analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
• 3-4 years of experience in Java

Skills

• Expertise in object-oriented programming concepts and data structures
• Strong knowledge of working with XMLs/Jsons
• Experience with large-scale distributed storage and database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, GraphDB)
• Good knowledge of indexing/search libraries like Lucene/Solr/Elasticsearch
• Exposure to Spring MVC architecture and RESTful APIs
• Well-versed with Agile methodology of SDLC
• Good to have: Knowledge of standard DevOps skills like Build tools (Maven/gradle), Continuous integration (Jenkins), Version Control (Github/Gitlab)

We are looking for an Android developer who has hands-on experience in coding, building technology blocks, help answer choice of certain platform/tech over others, help the team visualize the product with the available resources and assets. 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and test functionality for the latest app design.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
• Take requirements and specs from design to development and be the first line of quality assurance.
• Understand user requirements—these apps have to meet real-world scenarios.
• Support the Supersub Mobile application in its entirety, including working on bug fixes and improving application performance, reliability and stability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years of Kotlin Android development preferred.
• Solid Firebase & Firestore experience.
• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance timeline vs features, while not sacrificing quality, and all within a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge in object-oriented software development, various architecture such as MVC/MVVM/MVP, multithreading, networking and memory management.
• Knowledge of standard Android libraries and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Android SDK, including relevant frameworks, such as testing and mocking frameworks, REST clients, dependency injection, etc.

Our backend(NodeJS+PHP) team is passionate about technology, and we love building scalable web solutions keeping performance in mind.We're looking for a full stack developer that has experience developing a variety of Web Apps using the PHP and NodeJS stack.

Role + Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to design, develop and support scalable applications        
• Developing API’s(REST), designing the database schema and implement same in web frameworks like Laravel and Express along with ORM(including migration script and seeds data)    
• Very good end-to-end debugging skills in PHP and NodejS stack.    
• Write, test, and release production-ready code.        
• Work with our DevOps team to ensure continuous deployments of our applications

Person Specification and Qualifications:

• Experience developing highly scalable services and APIs(in NodejS and PHP frameworks)    
• Knowledge of data modelling and database performance using NoSQL/SQL    
• Strong experience with PHP framework like Laravel(PHP) and JS frameworks like Express, and other Framework In nodeJS.    
• Good knowledge in code versioning(git or svn)    
• Good knowledge in html templating, javascript, html and css.    
• Good experience with code deployment on server like ubuntu, linux.    
• Knowledge of SDK integration(social media sdk like Facebook, google, etc and cloud services sdk like AWS and Azure)    
• Familiarity developing SaaS applications in AWS/Azure cloud services.        
• In-depth knowledge of designing and developing software in distributed architectures for multi-tier applications
