Job Role: WordPress Developer

Experience Level: 2 - 3 Years

Job Overview: We are in search of a seasoned and proficient WordPress Developer to join our innovative team. As a WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital presence of our projects. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around leading the development process, creating functional and visually appealing websites, and ensuring seamless integration with our brand's identity across various online platforms.

Required Skill Set:

● Experience in translating Figma designs into semantically correct WordPress websites, ensuring webpages are pixel-perfect as per the design.

● Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles to translate designs into fluid and responsive websites.

● Thorough understanding of UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.

● Experience in developing cross-platform/browser-compatible (IE/Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera, etc.) websites

● Strong working knowledge of creating interactions and animations for the web using AnimeJS or GSAP.

● Experience in custom CSS animations and SVG animations.

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript, especially DOM manipulation.

● Strong working knowledge of Elementor and Revolution Slider WordPress Plugins.

● Familiarity with how to integrate Lottie animations.

● Ability to implement SEO best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Convert the UI/UX design or wireframes into highly interactive WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

● Collaborate with UI/UX designers for effective teamwork.

● Write actual code, ensuring the website matches the Figma design and is optimized for smartphones and tablets.

● Perform QC (Quality Check) on different browsers and devices.

● Make web pages SEO-friendly.

● Integrate jQuery and other libraries into the project.

● Have the confidence to work on existing projects and integrate new sections and pages.

● Collaborate with other developers and web designers in the team to meet the project's requirements.

Your job:

• Implement customer-specific applications with focus on business logic and algorithmic development using high-level languages

• Define and develop clear software architectures and interfaces connecting hardware control and user interfaces

• Collaborate closely with global development teams, especially at headquarters in Germany

• Maintain and enhance implemented applications, ensuring quality documentation and issue tracking in ALM tools

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve problems through solution-oriented proposals across diverse customer environments

• Support the implementation of libraries and components with emphasis on scalable software design 

Your qualification:

• Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or a comparable field

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with with high-level programming languages such as Python or Node.js and UI frameworks like HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, or C# / WPF

• Very good technical understanding and sound knowledge of electric automation and mechatronic or robotic/end-of-arm systems is desirable • Knowledge of PLC-programming and industrial fieldbus protocols is advantageous

• Excellent command of written and spoken English communication skills

• Proficiency in modern development environments, interface design, and application lifecycle management (ALM) tools

• Analytical, customer-focused, collaborative, and proactive in problem-solving and continuous learning

• Open to occasional travel and short-term international assignments for customer or HQ collaboration

Build and maintain products. Build products and features, through inception, design, implementation and launch, working closely with multiple disciplines across the company. You will spend the majority of your time working on critical projects which require focus on integrations, scalability, and performance. You will also be the first line of defense in ensuring that the product features are achievable and have a clear purpose, trimming off unnecessary detailing, especially in the earliest stages. Align across teams and stakeholders. Play a key role in ensuring that objectives and expectations are aligned across multiple concurrent products. You are expected to break down features within each project and prioritize tasks based on the expertise of the team, keeping redundancy in mind. 

Maintain a high bar for code quality and future proofing. Implement processes for checking in code that maintains a high bar of code quality. You are expected to optimize for a solution that affords the best user experience in a reasonable amount of time while ensuring to allow for adequate security, ability to scale in the future etc. 

Responsibilities

● Design, build and maintain scalable, secure web services and distributed systems

● Design and develop robust solutions for client onboarding, portfolio analytics, tokenized security issuance, authentication, and security

● Build solutions to integrate with APIs of external solutions providers including crypto custodians, exchanges, fund admins etc.

● Architecting and building frontend features in React.js

● Ensuring a highly performant and responsive UI

● Help maintain existing codebase, infrastructure, test coverage, and documentation

● Communicate requirements effectively within and across teams

● Independently work and lead project initiatives in a fast paced environment

Requirements

● 5+ years of work experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similarly senior member of a fast scaling company, ideally building products from ideation to launch with a strong engineering team. Web3 based experience preferred.

● Have experience in rapid prototyping of features across various products. Demonstrable open source contributions and experience with Git advantageous.

● Professional experience with Python, Javascript, Typescript, or Go

● Must have experience building and/or integrating with RESTful APIs

● Working knowledge of Django, FastAPI, or React.js and Redux

● Working knowledge various frontend frameworks and languages such as HTML, CSS

● Experience monitoring and scaling microservice-oriented systems

● Familiarity with websocket architecture and implementation

● Experience working with cloud-native AWS infrastructure and/or Kubernetes

● Team-building and technical leadership experience

● Being nimble and reacting quickly to changing business conditions

● BTech in Computer Science or a related field (Masters is a plus
