Team Lead

Job brief: We are looking for a experienced Team Lead who possesses a passion for pushing Web technologies to the limits. This person will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of Web applications. Works closely with other app development and technical teams. Tech Stack : PHP, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, AJAX, REST API, JQUERY, POSTGRESQL, MYSQL, MVC FRAMEWORK. Responsibilities: ● Should take the responsibility and ownership for the analysis, functional decomposition, modelling, prototyping, design, coding, code review, testing, deployment and status reporting of a work product in a project. ● Delivery of project version / module as per plan and with quality. ● Provide input on technical effort estimation to arrive at resourcing plans. ● Be part of technical panel for recruitment and yearly performance appraisals. ● Conduct training and induction of new team members. ● Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. ● Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. ● Report and escalate to management as needed. ● Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. ● Perform risk management to minimize project risks. ● Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. ● Ensure resource availability and allocation. ● Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. ● Perform other related duties as assigned ● Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs. ● Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Requirements: ● 3+ years of experience in developing web applications. ● Experience in technically leading a development team / sub team of 3-5 developers. ● Experience of working on projects involving a variety of technologies. ● Ensure resource availability and allocation. ● Excellent understanding on APIs ● Excellent understanding of software architectures. ● Excellent understanding of databases especially Firebase. ● Excellent understanding of UI elements--, layouts, common 3rd party libraries, etc. ● Ability to architect scalable and performance oriented solutions based on the requirements. ● Ensure that the latest technology standard and best practices are maintained across the organization. ● Develop the vision and roadmap of an organization's technology strategy. Lead the architecture and execution of it. ● Excellent problem solving skills, Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications Collaborate with a team to define design and ship new features ● Version control with Bitbucket. ● Understanding of startup culture ● Good team player, Quick learner
