Role Overview

You will play a crucial role in performance tuning of the product, focusing on response time, load, and scalability. The role demands hands-on expertise in performance testing tools and strong troubleshooting skills to collaborate effectively with development and architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or RPT.
• Conduct multi-user scenario scripting and load/stress testing.
• Analyze performance test results and provide bottleneck analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to optimize performance across response time, scalability, and throughput.
• Monitor system health during performance testing and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Document test strategy, results, and provide actionable insights to improve product performance.
• Contribute to performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud-based applications (added advantage).

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of overall engineering product testing experience.
• At least 2 years in automation testing.
• At least 2 years in performance test analysis.
• Hands-on expertise in JMeter, RPT, or LoadRunner (mandatory).
• Strong background in performance engineering with the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Experience in cloud-based applications (preferred).
• Knowledge of C++ coding will be an added advantage.
• Excellent skills in performance monitoring, profiling, and analysis.
• Strong communication skills for technical discussions with development and architecture teams.

6-9 years’ work experience performing relevant engineering job functions preferably in the eCommerce space. ● 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with mastery of Apex programming, JavaScript, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs. ● Proficient in the Salesforce platform, with substantial experience across a variety of Salesforce products, including OMS, OCI, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Mulesoft. ● Understanding of data and system integration tools, methods and platforms ● Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java/Kotlin, Spring, Kafka, SQL, GitHub, CI/CD, Eclipse IDEs, and JavaScript/HTML/CSS is a plus. ● Exceptional problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders. ● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. ● Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree may be preferred.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Business Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in HR operations, payroll management, and a deep understanding of labor and statutory compliance. As an HRBP, you will play a key role in aligning business objectives with HR strategies, providing operational support, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manager HR Operations: Lead HR operations within the Business Operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day HR processes, such as employee lifecycle management (onboarding, offboarding, background verification (BGV), administrative requirements).
• Training & Induction/Orientation: Lead the planning and execution of onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new employees. Ensure smooth integration into the organization by providing a comprehensive introduction to company culture, policies, and key functions. Collaborate with managers to identify training needs, and design or facilitate relevant learning programs to enhance employee performance and development.
• Payroll Management: Oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement. Handle any payroll-related queries and work closely with the finance team.
• Labor Compliance & Statutory Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to all labor laws, including statutory compliance requirements. Monitor changes in local, state, and national labor regulations and ensure the business remains compliant.
• Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, addressing any HR issues, conflicts, or concerns.
• Strategic HR Support: Partner with leadership to identify HR needs and implement tailored solutions that support business goals. Provide guidance on performance management, talent development, and workforce planning.
• HR Analytics & Reporting: Utilize HR data analytics to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making. Maintain dashboards to track employee trends, monitor HR metrics, and continuously improve HR processes through actionable data. Provide regular reports to leadership for strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in HR operations, payroll management, and HR compliance, preferably in business operations
• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
• Prior experience in business partner roles or similar HRBP positions is a plus.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems and payroll software is desirable.

What You’ll Do

This is an individual contributor position. Expectations will be on the below lines:

• Design, build and maintain the stream processing, and time-series analysis system which is at the heart of Conviva's products
• Responsible for the architecture of the Conviva platform
• Build features, enhancements, new services, and bug fixing in Scala and Java on a Jenkins-based pipeline to be deployed as Docker containers on Kubernetes
• Own the entire lifecycle of your microservice including early specs, design, technology choice, development, unit-testing, integration-testing, documentation, deployment, troubleshooting, enhancements etc.
• Lead a team to develop a feature or parts of the product
• Adhere to the Agile model of software development to plan, estimate, and ship per business priority

What you need to succeed

• 9+ years of work experience in software development of data processing products.
• Engineering degree in software or equivalent from a premier institute.
• Excellent knowledge of fundamentals of Computer Science like algorithms and data structures. Hands-on with functional programming and know-how of its concepts
• Excellent programming and debugging skills on the JVM. Proficient in writing code in Scala/Java/Rust/Haskell/Erlang that is reliable, maintainable, secure, and performant
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Flink, Kafka, Druid, HDFS, etc.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts and scalability challenges including multi-threading, concurrency, sharding, partitioning, etc.
• Experience/knowledge of Akka/Lagom framework and/or stream processing technologies like RxJava or Project Reactor will be a big plus. Knowledge of design patterns like event-streaming, CQRS and DDD to build large microservice architectures will be a big plus
