Sr Front End Developer

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js.

Build and optimize Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) with offline capabilities, push notifications, and responsive design.

Implement mobile-first features and ensure cross-device compatibility.

Handle app packaging and distribution for various platforms (e.g., Android, iOS via PWA standards).

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Design, build, and maintain a scalable component library to promote UI consistency and reusability across projects

Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications.

Optimize application performance and loading times.

Integrate APIs and manage state using modern tools (e.g., Redux, Context API).

Implement and manage push notifications and background sync features.

Advocate for and implement best practices in UI architecture, including modularity, theming, and performance optimization.

Stay up to date with the latest trends in Web development and PWA capabilities.

Hospitality services domain experience is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Proficiency in Agile methodologies and software development best practices.

Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Skills Description:

• Hands-on in any one of the CMS platforms with an in depth understanding of the platform (Drupal, WordPress, Liferay etc.)
• Good knowledge of theme, plug-ins customization and custom component development
• Desire to continually learn and explore new tools, concepts and ideas and then share them with the rest of the team
• The candidate is expected to pick up AEM platform quickly and get certified.
• Candidates having a strong java skillset (or have experience in java-based CMS platforms - like Liferay) is expected to learn AEM platform and contribute extensively to AEM backend development in JCR, OSGI and Apache Sling
• Candidates having a strong front-end skills like HTML 5, CSS3 (or pre-processing platforms like SASS), JavaScript, jQuery or have extensively worked in any non-java-based CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress etc. will be required to learn AEM Platform and contribute to AEM Front-end development in designing AEM templates and components leveraging AEM Sightly/HTL Framework.

• Supervising others. Deputising for a Lead and/or supporting them with tasks. Mentoring new joiners/interns and Masters students. Sharing knowledge and learnings with the team.

Requirements:

• Acquired strong proven professional Front End Development experience.
• Proven track record and experience working on Javascript and front end frameworks like React (preferred) and Angular
• Knowledge and experience working with Node.js, Go or any other back end programming language is a plus .
• Experience of turning UI/UX designs to applications and keen interest in the UI/UX side of an application. 
• Able to build prototypes quickly and work with the product teams to test a concept. 
• Demonstrable experience in building front end or UI/UX development practices in previous jobs. 
• Building and implementing a product on cloud based infrastructure.
• Good understanding of Microservice Architecture, Cloud Technologies, CI/CD and Serverless.
• Ability to document requirements and specifications.
• A naturally inquisitive and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong experience in using Agile Methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum to build quality software.
• Good communication skills.
