Landing Page Specialist

We are looking for a skilled React Native Developer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for building performant, maintainable, and responsive mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using React Native.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and JavaScript
• Translate designs from Figma or other specs into responsive UI using Flexbox, StyleSheet, and semantic components like View, Text, and Image
• Work with APIs using fetch, async/await, and implement robust error handling
• Use React Hooks (useState, useEffect, useRef, etc.) and manage component state and lifecycles effectively
• Optimize performance using FlatList, SectionList, useMemo, useCallback, and memo
• Handle accessibility, dark mode, safe areas, notches, and orientation changes
• Implement animations using Animated API and LayoutAnimation
• Use tools like React DevTools, Flipper, and Chrome DevTools for debugging and performance profiling
• Integrate third-party libraries, native modules, or write custom native bridges as needed
• Handle OTA updates, app size optimizations, and splash screens for both platforms
• Set up automated testing using tools like Detox or Appium
• Integrate and manage analytics (Firebase, Mixpanel), Crashlytics, and logging
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following patterns like atomic design or MVVM

• Develop User interfaces for Modern Rich Internet Applications with the latest Front End Technologies
• Perform product analysis and development tasks of an increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
• Writing tested and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Make design and technical decisions for AngularJS projects.
• Develop application code and unit test in the AngularJS, Rest Web Services and Java technologies for the Application Development Center.

• Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writicross-browser-compatibleble code.
• Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques
• Experience with RESTful services
• Experience in JavaScript build tools like grunt or gulp
• Expert in any one of the modern JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks (AngularJS, JQuery, NodeJS, GruntJS)
• Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex. Jasmine)
• Test runner framework (Ex. Karma)
• Hand on and implements complex AngularJS applications, directives, controllers, services

Technical Skills: (must have)

• Excellent Angular 5+, NodeJS, Typescript programming skills

• Strong HTML/HTML5/JavaScript skills
• Sound understanding of MVC, MVVM, JSON, and data binding

• Hands-on experience with implementing Angular best practices (e.g. project structure, module organisation, naming convention, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with Web APIs (e.g. HTTP protocols, AJAX and REST)

• Hands-on experience of using browser events and various data types like arrays and objects, JSON, forms, closures and modules, including the use of debugging tools

• Hands-on with CSS3 and sound understanding of cross browser inconsistencies and responsive frameworks

• Experience in integrating with third party JavaScript libraries and frameworks like jQuery

• Experience with Templating

Additional Skills: (nice to have)

• Knowledge of standard authentication systems such as OAuth2, JWT and SSO

• Knowledge of WebSockets is an added advantage
• Experience with version controlling tools e.g. Git
• Experience with developing browser extensions

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key accountability of Sr.FED will be to plan, develop, maintain and optimise codebase for web app and browser extensions of MyLOFT.

• Planning and Development
• Design Planning of the functional App in coordination with software development team
• Develop and Deliver front-end applications and browser extensions
• Develop and Integrate custom modules and components with functional app
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Integrate existing template or pure HTML in angular
• Work closely with HTML developer and UI designer to deliver pixel perfect dynamic Frontend UI

• Work closely with back-end team to build and integrate REST API
• Integration with external web services e.g. Google APIs
• Testing and Maintenance
• Follow best practices for testing and maintenance to ensure that codebase is executable, readable and easy to maintain

• Ensure that security and versioning of the codebase is maintained
• Write and maintain technical documentation for ready reference
• Post Launch Optimisation
• Periodically participate in code review and refactoring to improve app performance
• Participate in user feedback sessions to identify and understand user requirements
• Beta/Marketability Tests (for POCs)
• Coordinate with development team to evaluate technical feasibility of new requirements
• Build prototypes/POCs
• Actively participate in relevant technical forums
• Participate in training and knowledge sharing initiatives

Responsibilities

Provides feedback on frontend architecture, code organization and CI/CD infrastructure for the team

Provides frontend leadership expertise and mentoring to other developers on not only the team, but the engineering organization as a whole

Working closely with UX designers to turn their ideas into reality as it relates to creating visualizations for next generation cybersecurity

Qualifications

Proficient in developing large REACT Web Applications

Experience with Django applications

Proficient with TypeScript

Experience with Postgres or other relational database(s)

Experience developing REST APIs with authentication and scaling

Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries

Cloud computing architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Experience with Docker a plus
