React Native Developer

Responsibilities

● Develop high-quality Javascript (ES6) code for our React Native applications (iOS/Android).

● Coordinate with backend engineers to establish JSON-based APIs.

● Optimize application for maximum speed and compatibility.

● Integrating third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts

● Multitask seamlessly, always maintaining a positive attitude and a client-first mentality

● Incorporate engineering best practices, methodologies & standards in all deliverables

● Pay close attention to details and be able to follow specifications and mockups (pixel perfect).

● Making recommendations to address UI/UX issues.

Requirement:

● 1-2 yrs Experience in React Native

● Strong experience in React Native, JavaScript, ES6, CSS3.

● Good experience with React or React Native and Redux.

● Experience building complex features and interfaces for React Native applications.

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

● Experience with version control tools (Git), NPM-

● Deep understanding of data structures, data flow, Ajax and CRUD.

● Solid knowledge of mobile app development practices.

● Excellent spoken and written English

● Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate design decisions

The candidate must have experience in the following technologies (the more the better):

Frontend:

Core - JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, etc.

Requirements:

• Ability to reuse components
• Proven experience in working with Git and Github 
• Creating and consuming a RESTful API
• You must have clear concepts of client-server architecture
• Familiarity with MVC (Model-View-Controller) design patterns
• Understanding of OOP concepts

• 2+ years of experience as a react/react-native developer
• Must have skills: ReactJS
• Deep understanding of javascript, typescript and react
• Familiarity with multiple state management techniques
• Knowledgeable about design patterns and their utility in day to day problems
• Worked on and shipped large scale react/react-native applications
• Great product sense; you care about usability and good design
• Strong communication skills
• Bonus if you have worked on Android/iOS apps or nodejs backend.

• Work collaboratively with everyone in the team to deliver best in class user experience
• Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code in typescript and react-native
• Implement pixel perfect designs with advanced interactions, which are a joy to use
• Implement unit and UI automation tests
• Own a feature end to end and ensure its usability
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance user experience
• Support other developers on the team with code reviews, design feedback, and other advice and guidance

• You have 4-8 years of experience  in Frontend for web based applications with strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Frameworks like Angular  or React
• You love building things, and have built complex consumer web applications in the past.
• You have a sound understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• You are an expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• You are an expert in at least one JavaScript framework, such as Angular 7+, React or Vue.
• You understand how website-backend interacts with frontend as well as external APIs.
• You enjoy mentoring others and helping them solve challenging problems.

Backend Developer

*H1 is a Spanish fin/proptech that revolutionizes the mortgage market by offering bank-risk approved loans before knowing the house an individual wants to purchase. It also offers a powerful selling tool for real estate agents and developers that helps manage their businesses. From there, H1 is building a community of millions of high credit profile users (individuals + companies) that use the credit marketplace technology to access a multiproduct platform (including banking and non-banking capital and multiple financial and credit scoring products) that becomes a financial partner for individuals and companies as well as a personal documentation encrypted storage for all family or group members (SAAS model).

About the Job:

H1 seeks backend developers with experience on NodeJS, Typescript and PostgreSQL for our development team

In this role, you will report directly to the CTO

Agile based organization, with bi-weekly sprints on long-term project

Responsibilities:

• Build an extraordinary tech product (software) from an user centric perspective, for all the different actors involved with the organization and in direct contact with the technology (clients, management, finance, risk/operations team, commercial team, marketing, etc.) 
• Working with the CTO to build the roadmap and agile based organization required.
• Develop application api centric on security and encryption
• Receive and react to product feedback from all internal and external stakeholders
• Product KPIs, and product releases on a recurring basis
• Producing reports to monitor level of usability, engagement, etc. (product metrics and analytics)
• Contributing to deliver the expected results from a usability and engagement perspective

About You:

• With strong software product background, and extraordinary capabilities in terms of product strategy development and usability 
• 3-6+ years robust experience on developing software products in an agile based organization
• Demonstrated success in bringing new products to market, capturing market share and delivering market leading products and services.
• Clear examples of products managed or developed during his/her career 

• Strategic thinking: you are able to think at the strategic level and make the link with the pixel level 
• Able to work in a flat and transparent manner within a fast paced environment
• Results oriented
• Academic education in tech/product/digital related careers
• High level english (spoken and written). Spanish at any level would be a great plus.
