Job Title : Lead Web App Developer – Frontend

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to build and maintain responsive, cloud-based web applications. This role involves developing efficient user interfaces using React.js, collaborating closely with UX and backend teams, and ensuring high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Create and maintain web applications using React.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Collaboration: Work with UX designers to deliver excellent user experiences and ensure seamless backend integration.
• Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while staying updated with modern practices.
• Build & Deployment: Manage build pipelines with Jenkins, deploy to CDNs, and leverage GCP for scalable solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Implement JavaScript frameworks and libraries for web analytics and use Git for version control.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in React.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to RDBMS and SQL (preferred).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Leadership skills to guide and inspire a team of developers.
• Education: Bachelor's/Master’s in Computer Science or related fields.

Notice Period: 30 days preferred

Interview Process:

1. Technical Round: Online technical assessment (1 hour).
2. Face-to-Face Interview: In-person interview with the team at the Bengaluru office (3 hours).
3. Final Round: Online interview with the CEO (30 minutes).

Additional Information:

• Candidates from Bengaluru or willing to relocate are preferred.
• F2F interview attendance on a weekday is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Angular (v8+) and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/ES6+.
• Hands-on experience with RxJS for reactive programming.
• Experience with state management libraries like NgRx or similar.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with Angular CLI for project setup and management.
• Proficiency in browser developer tools for debugging.
• Strong experience with Jasmine, Karma, or other testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite.

Requirements

Must have (1.5 - 10) years of experience in front end development in an internet startup

Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience

Proficiency with javascript and html5

Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30 fps at all times

Thorough understanding of the responsibility of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies and other web services used in the system

Creating custom general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them in to technical requirements

Roles and responsibilities

Delivering a complete front end application

Co-ordinating the workflow between graphic designer, HTML coder and yourself

Cooperating with the back end developer in the process of building restful API

Must have skills (Angular 6, CSS, HTML, Javascript (ES5 and ES6), rest ful API, Product company / startup experience)

• Proven at least 2 to 3 years of work experience as a Front-end developer
• Hands-on experience with markup languages
• Experience with JavaScript,Next.Js and Tailwind is a must
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Understanding of layout aesthetics
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• Engineering Graduates preferred

• Skills: Angular 2+, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience: 5-9 years.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Should have strong sense of web design and attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.
• Should able to design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in UI Development and hands on experience on Angular2 or Angular 2+, Node etc.
• Exposure to cross browser compatibility issues, SCSS as the CSS macro-processor, sprites etc.
• Experience with Jira, SVN, Git will be added advantage
• Passionate and eager to learn new technologies
• Intimately knowledgeable about all things web and mobile
• Demo able portfolio on website or GitHub will be given preference
• Must have knowledge on Java script, jQuery, ECMAScript
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6) or TypeScript
• Familiarities with modern JavaScript tools, like npm and webpack
• Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills.
• Experience building JavaScript/CSS Frameworks or shared component libraries used in large scale production websites.

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
