Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer (SDE 2) professional with strong expertise in building scalable backend applications, microservices, and distributed systems in Agile environments.

Mandatory Keywords :

Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, Microservices, Cloud, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, System Design.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems using Node.js & TypeScript.

• Build REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Develop secure, reusable, and high-performance applications.

• Work on microservices, cloud platforms, and production support.

• Follow best practices including TDD, testing, and DevOps processes.

• Mentor team members and contribute to technical excellence.

Mandatory Skills :

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop,  implement and evolve our backend platform (whose APIs and functionality provided are used by other game services, apps, and admin back office)
• Develop highly efficient, robust, quality code for applications and services
• Maintain clean coding practices
• Enhancing and supporting existing functions, some of which are 24/7
• Supporting product owners as required
• Providing support to the testing team during testing phases of the projects

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate scalable software solutions
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Design, develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Develop web applications implementing MVT architecture using Django web application frameworks

We are looking for a Developer who is proficient with Node and has at least 1-3 years of relevant experience. Your primary role will be on developing microservices, while ensuring good coding practices and architecture. You will have end to end ownership of the services you develop, to ensure it is robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, and quality product is important.

• 5-7+ years of commercial Java development experience
• Experience with well known Open Source frameworks/libraries, like Spring Boot

• Familiar with iterative development
• Upper-intermediate level of English
• Solid understanding of communication and network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP).

• Familiar with both SQL and noSQL databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, Memcached, Redis)
• Practical experience with scaling applications to big user numbers is a plus
