About the Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our engineering team (currently 5 teammates). We're looking for someone who is an all-rounder, but has particularly exceptional backend engineering skills.

Our ideal candidate has built AI agents at the orchestration layer level and leveraged clever engineering techniques to improve latency & reliability for complex workflows.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build state-of-the-art AI agents, and learn what it takes to build an industry-leading multimodal, multi-agent suite.

You'll wear many hats. Your responsibilities will fall into 3 categories:

AI Engineering

• Develop AI agents with a high bar for reliability and performance.
• Build SOTA LLM-powered tools for providers, practices, and patients.
• Architect our data annotation, fine tuning, and RLHF workflows.
• Live on the bleeding-edge ensuring that every week, we have the most cutting edge agents as the industry evolves.

Full-Stack Engineering (80% backend, 20% frontend)

• Lead the team in designing scalable architecture to support performant web applications.
• Develop features end-to-end for our web applications (Typescript, nodeJS, python etc).

Requirements

You do not need AI experience to apply to this role. While we prefer candidates that have some AI experience, we have hired engineers before that do not have any, but have demonstrated that they are very fast learners.

We prefer candidates who have worked as a founding engineer at an early stage startup (Seed or Preseed) or a Senior Software Engineer at a Series A or B startup.

Job title: NodeJS Developer

Job Type: Full-Time

Role

As a NodeJS developer at Techwondoe, you will be designing, developing and deploying applications built using nodeJS techstack. You will start working on a project that has cloud functions, services built using nodeJS and deployed into GCP.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud functions using nodeJS and services using nestJS
• Write unit tests for all the code with good coverage
• Develop and maintain Cl/CD pipelines in gitlab
• Mentor junior engineers by reviewing their code, guiding them in right direction
• Build quality code that is easily readable, scalable and maintainable

Skills Required

• 3+ years of working experience using nodeJS
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Experience in designing and developing serverless applications
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, Design patterns
• Good to have hands on experience with terraform
• Good to have experience in building efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with mentoring junior engineers
• Ability to up-skill in new technologies
• Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, service oriented web applications from scratch for technology products for European market.
• Maintain these applications for accuracy and high availability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve system designs, architecture and implementation standards
• Participate with founding, business and product teams in discussions on how to build and launch new modules.
• Collaborate across functions and own the planning, estimation and execution for parts of the product.
• Start as an individual contributor but stay ready to build and mentor a small team of up to 5 engineers over the coming months and years.
• Contribute in hiring highly ambitious engineers as the team grows.

Requirements:

• Experience of architecting and building products/business critical backend applications using different MVC frameworks.
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience of building and maintaining scalable applications using Node.js/MEAN stack.
• Experience of deploying and maintaining web applications.
• Experience with non relational databases like MongoDB.
• Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and stress testing tools.
• Good communication skills.

• Exposure in building polyglot applications.
• Exposure for devops and related processes, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of components in scalable solutions i. e. database partitions, message brokers, background processing.
• Exposure to basic frontend technologies to speed up collaboration with the frontend team.

• 3+ years of work experience as a Python Developer. 
• Sound understanding and knowledge of Python and its ecosystem libraries like pandas and numpy. Also be able to write modular code and understand the python packaging system. 

• Experience on web crawling, scraping (Scrapy,BeautifulSoup, Selenium) and web application development using Django/Flask Framework. 
• Experience on Data-Science; exposure to Theanos, Tensorflow, Pytorch (preferable) 
• Exposure to data mining, Pyspark (preferable)
