Backend Platform Engineer

Job Description:

• Proficient in software Design and development and familiar with technologies - Java, Java-J2EE, Spring Boot, Ajax, REST API, Micro services etc.
• Working knowledge of any SQL database (MySQL, Oracle etc)
• Working knowledge of No-SQL database (Mongo or Dynamo DB)
• Experience in unit testing using Junit or Mockito
• Experience in designing and architecting systems with high scalability and performance requirements.
• Ability to design infrastructure for performance evaluation and reporting of cloud-based services, namely AWS
• In depth knowledge of key AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch etc..
• Certification on AWS architecture desirable
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Skilled in interfacing with internal and external technical resources
• Good in debugging problems and mentoring teams on technical front

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate and contribute in platform requirements/story development.
• Contribute to the design, coding for the requirements/stories and also participate in code and design reviews.
• Develop use cases and do unit test cases and execute them part of continuous integration pipeline.

Role: Backend Developer

Role & Responsibilities / What you will do?

• Participate in design and implementation of the overallBackend architecture.
• Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development,
• In depth knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJs. (plus point if having knowledge of GOLang)
• In depth knowledge of Databases like MongoDB, MySQL, CouchBase, Cassandra and search engine like elastic
• OTT Streaming platform knowledge includes functional areas such as - Media Processing ,Content Management system
• Problem Solving – Ownership, Proactive and Systematic approach.
• Enable absorption of latest technologies in the product line.
• Ensure best practices in software development are institutionalized.
• Problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
• Validation, Testing and Performance, monitoring etc

Requirements / What you should have?

• Understanding and knowledge of Front end is plus point.
• Continuous integration (Jenkins) and version control (Git) etc.
• Good Error and Exceptional Handling Skills.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development.
• Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production 

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in an existing codebase and collaborate with a diverse team
• Experience in building enterprise-scale backend REST APIs with frameworks such as Nest.js & Express.js using an API-first paradigm
• Intimate knowledge of crafting highly performant database queries
• Hands-on experience implementing relational database structures, including tables, indexes, views, etc.
• A mindset towards building systems for the cloud and DevOps fundamentals
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services is good to have. If not then willingness to learn should be there.

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (BACKEND DEVELOPMENT):

We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.

Responsibilities

Requirements
