Must-Have Skills:

• React Native with strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• State Management using Redux Toolkit / Context API

What are we looking for?

• BTech, MTech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (or equivalent). Or high technical acumen and rich technical experience.

• Experience of 3-7 years building Android Applications.
• Strong expertise on building consumer-facing Android Apps with either Java or Kotlin, with strong programming constructs.

• Worked on building two or more Android apps
• Experience of managing E2E life cycle of Android Apps including play store deployments and post-deployment support.

• Experience of working with ReactNative would be a plus.
• The ability to independently lead problem-solving and build elegant, maintainable solutions to complex problems.

• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Prior experience in working with Agile software methodologies ( Scrum, Kanban), TDD and Continuous  

   Intégration(CI/CD) a plus.

• Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems

• 6+ years of experience in Software Development and writing Unit tests for Mobile Apps
• Excellent designing, debugging and programming skills in an Object oriented programming language like C#, Java, javascript, Swift, Dart etc.
• Experience with Native Mobile development (Android or IOS) and Cross-Platform mobile development (preferably Flutter)
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles
• Strong knowledge of writing code for testability, modularity and extensibility
• Knowledge of test methodologies and corresponding unit test framework tools like JUnit etc.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  
  

• Experience working with BloC Pattern and Dependency Injection
• Knowledge of Eventing based programming patterns. 
• Exposure to integrating Performance, Analytics, Attribution tools
• Experience of using Flavors in application development
• Knowledge of Multi-module development in Flutter (ex- via Melos)

• Work with the product team and drive design, development and delivery of new features.
• Investigate and fix issues referred to by the support team. Write code to automate tests to automate regressions.
• Work on improving stability, debuggability, testability of existing functionalities/modules/components
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs and consume in app.
• Serve as a technical lead for the team
• Mentor team members

Role & Responsibility:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirement:

• 3-5 year of experience in Android app development
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Should be passionate about the code you write
• Good understanding of Android jetpack libraries and internals
• Good experience on java 
• Knowledge of kotlin is a plus
• Good Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, Dagger, Observables, Livedata, Retrofit, Glide, OkHttp
• Understanding in Unit Testing will be a plus
• Proven software development experience and Android skills development
• Proven working experience in Android app development and
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

We are looking for an Android developer who has hands-on experience in coding, building technology blocks, help answer choice of certain platform/tech over others, help the team visualize the product with the available resources and assets. 

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and test functionality for the latest app design.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.
• Take requirements and specs from design to development and be the first line of quality assurance.
• Understand user requirements—these apps have to meet real-world scenarios.
• Support the Supersub Mobile application in its entirety, including working on bug fixes and improving application performance, reliability and stability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

What you bring:

• 3+ years of mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years of Kotlin Android development preferred.
• Solid Firebase & Firestore experience.
• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance timeline vs features, while not sacrificing quality, and all within a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge in object-oriented software development, various architecture such as MVC/MVVM/MVP, multithreading, networking and memory management.
• Knowledge of standard Android libraries and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Android SDK, including relevant frameworks, such as testing and mocking frameworks, REST clients, dependency injection, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing app using Flutter for both Android & iOS platforms.
• Writing quality code independently that is simple, reliable, and scalable.
• Evaluating and implementing out-of-the-box ideas for application development.
• Working with the team to manage, optimize, and customize multiple applications.
• Detecting and troubleshooting application issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have 1+ years of experience in Flutter.Should have worked and successfully deployed apps using Flutter framework.
• Good knowledge of Flutter SDK & Dart programming language.
• Should have worked on mobile platforms like Android or iOS.
• Should have developed & worked with Flutter widgets for iOS & Android with any of the state management solutions like Bloc, Provider, Mobx, etc.
• Mobile app architecture design and optimization. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to match the design as closely as possible.
• Ability to work closely with Product Managers, other development team members.
• Understanding of Functional Reactive Programming is a must.
• Comfortable with Test-Driven Development.
