Android Developer for a Gaming Platform

We are looking for a Senior Frontend / Mobile App Engineer with deep expertise in React Native and/or Flutter, strong frontend fundamentals, and a product mindset. You will play a key role in designing and building high-quality, scalable, and performant mobile applications used by millions of learners worldwide.

This role requires hands-on ownership, architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams in a fast-moving, AI-first environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of high-performance mobile applications using React Native and/or Flutter
• Build intuitive, engaging, and accessible user experiences across Android and iOS
• Own features end-to-end—from concept and design to development, testing, and production release
• Define and drive frontend/mobile architecture, patterns, and best practices
• Ensure excellent app performance, responsiveness, and reliability at scale
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and AI-powered services
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, frameworks, and patterns to improve product quality
• Work in an Agile environment with rapid iterations and frequent releases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years of overall frontend/mobile development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native and/or Flutter in production-grade apps
• Deep understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript, mobile UI frameworks, and app architecture
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience building scalable, maintainable, and testable codebases
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization, memory management, and rendering
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and modern backend integrations
• Proficiency with Git and modern build / CI tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and product-oriented thinking

Skills Required :

• Minimum 2 years experience in iOS Development
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Native Mobile Development
• Minimum 1 year of experience in React-Native/Flutter framework
• Should be thorough with different architectures used in Mobile Development
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Android/iOS framework:
• Multithreading concepts
• Persistent data storage
• Rest APIs Implementation
• Should know the internals of the mobile build and distribution processes
• Ready to learn and develop in any cross-platform frameworks
• Should be able to capture bottlenecks and improve them without or little supervision
• Awareness of Secure Development process and practices

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of other cross-platform frameworks i.e., Cordova, Unity, etc
• Experience in working and shipping SDKs/plugins

• Own the development, testing, and maintenance of native SDKs and Unity on different mobile platforms, their respective OS versions, and devices.

• Develop and maintain the app(Android & iOS)
• Maintain quality of code
• Collaborate with other engineers in building applications.
• Attend daily stand up meetings.
• Discuss and write specifications for tasks.
• Assist system lead with system design.
• Conduct code reviews as requested.
• Test sites and applications in different browsers and environments.
• Learn and test new technologies, frameworks, and languages.
• Stay up to date with new trends and advancements in app development

Skills and Qualification:

• Knowledge of Dart Language
• Familiarity with version control
• Basic understanding of Flutter architecture, Widget trees
• Familiarity with app architecture (MVVM, MVP, MVC, etc...)
• Understanding of a sync operations
• Familiarity with local storage (like Dio, shared preferences, etc... )
• Familiarity with Flutter state management approach (BLoc, provider, etc...)
