The role:
We are looking for a seasoned react native engineer to join our team as the lead mobile engineer. More than anything, we are looking for engineers that are eager to learn, and do whatever it takes to build a meaningful company. We are a small team and encourage engineers to wear many hats. Working closely with our founders, senior leaders, product managers, and designers, you will have the unique opportunity to build products that will change how students and teachers learn online and shape the culture of our engineering organization.We are building mobile apps to take online learning to the next level, enabling students to create, express, and share, capture their learning journey as they go.

Desired Experience skills:-
Passion for all things Mobile and have built complex Mobile Applications with React Native for at least 2 years.
Have shipped apps on either the iOS App Store or Android Play Store, and are intimately familiar with their workflows.
Comfortable with jest for writing unit and integration tests / appium for end-end testing.
Intuition for usability and UI design, with an ability to balance polish with the constraints oftiming and scope.
Curiosity to remain updated with the newest technologies and frameworks.
Comfort with any of WebRTC/Backend Stack/React JS is a strong plus.

Requirements

We are a team of 5 across product, content, ops, and business.

Job Description:
We are looking for a hands-on lead mobile developer (iOS & Android) to join our core team with experience in building products from scratch into large-scale platforms and solving business problems leveraging new and innovative technology.

Roles and responsibilities:
● Design and build advanced applications for the React Native platform working
individually and in a team
● Work as per the defined project priorities and project schedules to complete the
assigned projects within allotted timelines
● Interact with the cross-functional team for the day to day development tasks and hurdles
● Adhere to agile development methodologies
● Maintain the quality and security of the assigned development tasks by applying the best design and development guidelines as defined in the project

Experience you MUST have:
● Extensive experience in React Native and Javascript programming, Advanced
Apps Development using progressive web technologies for both iOS & Android.
● Built progressive apps using GUI Camera, GPS API, Maps API, Services, and
SQLite database programming.
● Javascript IDE
● Using client apps for version control systems like SVN, Git, etc

About the Software Engineer Role
DISPRZ is looking for a Software Engineer who will deliver individually on features /
enhancements under our products, as laid out as per the company’s product delivery
roadmap and own responsibility for their technical integrity, scalability and trouble-free
deployment to the customer.

Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
● Build and ship reliable software practicing robust software design and in-depth code
reviews.
● Build efficient, clean and reusable features / libraries / components
● Collaborate with our design and product teams on defining and delivering new
features to ensure a great experience for our users.
● Analyse and optimize existing UI and Server-side code for security, efficiency and
performance.

● Be a voice in ensuring the team stays true to the technical vision.
● Write clean, scalable code in mobile-based programming languages and/or .NET
● Write SQL Stored Procedures
● Test and deploy applications and systems
● Collaborate with technical lead to produce software design and architecture
● Translate designs and style guides provided by the UI/UX team into functional user
interfaces, while ensuring cross-browser compatibility and performance.

The Ideal Candidate
Education / Skill Set
● Engineering / MCA degree from a top school with an excellent academic record
● Object oriented programming knowledge is a must.
● High level of Proficiency in Web-based technologies – JavaScript, HTML/CSS
● Knowledge of any one JS framework like React Native, Angular, or the like, is a plus
