Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong experience in Java Spring Boot

and Angular to lead a team of developers for a client project based out of Whitefield,Bangalore. The role requires hands-on development, design, architecture understanding, code review, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead a team of 9 developers and provide technical guidance.

● Perform hands-on development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular.

● Drive solution design, code quality, best practices, and performance optimization.

● Work closely with the client’s product owners and architects.

● Conduct code reviews, technical grooming, and sprint planning.

● Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

● Ensure timely delivery of modules with high quality.

● Mentor team members and support them in solving technical blockers.

Technical Skills Required

● Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, REST APIs.

● Strong front-end experience with Angular 8+, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

● Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

● Hands-on with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD.

● Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) is an added advantage.

● Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Soft Skills

Job Description: We are seeking a talented Java Full Stack Developer to join our team.

We are solving complex technical problems in the financial industry and need talented software engineers to join our mission and be a part of a global software development team. As a Java Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java and Angular.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and you will work closely with Architects to ensure the technical feasibility of designs and implement them accordingly.

Required Skills: 

• Exp. - 5 to 9 years. 
• Experience in Core Java 8 and above, Spring (including Core, WebMvc, Batch, Cloud etc). 
• Extensive experience in developing enterprise-scale n-tier applications for financial domain. Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns. 
• Should be able to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low-latency client-facing applications. 
• Develop user interfaces for modern web applications using Angular. 
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 
• Good development experience with RDBMS, preferably DB2/Sybase databases. 
• Good knowledge of multi-threading and high-volume server-side development. 
• Basic working knowledge of Unix/Linux. 
• Excellent problem solving and coding skills in Java. 
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. 
• Should be able to express their design ideas and thoughts. 

Good to have Skills: 

• Prior experience in investment banking / capital markets.

Responsibilities:

• Actively drive discussions to improve product across engineering teams, wherever there are inter dependencies across products
• Develop functionalities in full stack
• API Definitions and end-to-end service design and implementations
• Design applications in true service oriented architecture
• Develop object-oriented models and design data structure for new software projects taking systems aspects into account
• Participate and contribute in discussions and decisions for creating and improving architecture across applications.
• Make correct design choices in the context of problem for datastore, caching, search, scaling etc.
• Write good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code,
• Identify the areas and approach to refactor and simplify the modules; refactor code to improve code quality and bring molecularity and simplicity.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Min 1 year exp in NodeJS & Express
• Min 1 year exp in consuming Rest services
• Min 1 year exp in MongoDB
• Min 1 year exp. in Angular 2+ version
• Should be from top engineering college

• Knowing AWS, Micro services would be an added advantage

Nature of Work:

This being an advanced level position in the S/W development team the individual is expected to:
Participate as a team member in all phases of the S/W lifecycle, including the analysis and design of S/W systems.

Participate in a detailed level of coding, code walk – through and unit testing of S/W modules.
Participate in integrated testing of product/ package.

Participate in difficult and typical coding assignments with responsibility of a small module consisting of 3 – 5 members.

Participate in exploration/ feasibility study of products.
Have a thorough understanding of the assigned product/ project.

Participate in generating technical documentation of products/ packages.

Providing technical training to the juniors.
Manage allocated resources, keep compliance with discipline and decorum of the organization.

Keep compliance with Systems and Procedures.

Skill Set:
Thorough knowledge of current technological trends in Web based Software 

Strong Working knowledge of JSF/JSP, Servlets, Spring, Web application development and Core Java

• Working knowledge of working with databases using EJB.
• Knowledge of Bug Tracking tool such as Jira, Bugzilla and source code version control systems (SVN, GIT)
• Knowledge of working in Scrum methodology.
• Good to have knowledge of SonarQube and Web Security Aspects.
• Knowledge of Responsive Front End Development using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, JQuery, Ajax and JSON.
• Should be able to write test cases for the feature.
• Ability to gather and analyze data & draw logical conclusions
