Position Responsibilities

• Analyse and validate the requirements specification and identify the use cases.
• Prepare the test cases and execute them in the test instances.
• Report defects and verify the fixes.
• Perform System Testing, Functional testing, Performance, Load & Stress testing, UI testing and Regression testing.
• Provide Test Assessment and release the Customization with High Quality
• Work with the development team and customer-facing team to troubleshoot root causes and verify fixes have been implemented properly.
• Validate the deployment document by deploying the applications on staging servers.
• Come up with best practices that will optimize the testing process. 
• Being proactive about solving problems and being ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert with the ability to discover and demonstrate how effectively our solution can help companies with their business automation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or engineering. 
• At least 3+ years' experience in QA and software testing
• Experience in testing web and desktop applications.
• Experience in using QA tools and techniques, bug tracking tools, test case design and execution.
• Working knowledge of the Agile software development life cycle 
• Knowledge of SQL queries is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of any programming languages and database is a plus.
• Strong thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
• Good in written and verbal communication. 
• Technical background or good understanding of technology and industry trends

Requirements:
*2-4 years of experience

*Ability to do stress testing + has knowledge of IT security (rate limiting, DDOS attacks etc)

*Proven Manual testing experience is a must.
*Good knowledge of Node.js and it's test platforms

*Automation exp will be a plus

* Should have experience in scripting (shell or python).

*Selenium experience and experience in managing CI/CD for code deployments is a plus
*Experience working with tools for version control (Git)
*Analytical and logical thinking with natural curiosity
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills

*Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness

* Test current products and identifying deficiencies

* Suggest solutions to identified product problems 

* Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction.

What you need to have:

• Lead and manage a team that:
• Reviews and refines software requirements.
• Drafts and executes test plans and test cases.
• Identifies and drafts steps to reproduce defects utilizing our defect tracking system, JIRA.
• Enters and tracks defects to closure.
• Utilizes testing tools to increase the effectiveness of testing.
• Maintains test environments that mimic our production systems.
• Maintains and updates Selenium driven UI automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates ReadyAPI API automation test cases.
• Maintains and updates manual test cases.
• Maintains and updates JMeter performance/load test cases.
• Coach, mentor, and assist the team in performing their duties as needed.
• Provide formal QA approval and reporting for each release.
• Operate within the SAFe Agile methodology.
• Coordinate with other QA teams across the company.

• Experience leading a SQA or Software Development team
• Experience managing projects and processes cross-functionally
• Comfortable working in a continually changing and dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution
• Proven track record of attracting, hiring, motivating and developing the best quality-minded individuals
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills
• In-depth knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Python, Selenium, JMeter, ReadyAPI
• Automation planning, execution, and triage for projects on multiple Platforms.
• Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways
• In-depth knowledge and experience in identity management including OpenID Connect, SAML2, OAuth2, and SCIM.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of application security testing.
• Unix command line scripting skills

• Good knowledge of STLC, SDLC
• Various manual testing concepts and techniques
• Compatibility testing on various environments
• MS Excel formulas
• Database queries
• Experience in testing agile projects
• Finance and accounting domain knowledge
• Effective Test planning and Test Effort Estimation Skills
