Summary/Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA (Quality Assurance) professional to join our team in Indore. As an Automation QA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify areas for automation and implement efficient testing strategies.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1.     Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other automation tools.

2.     Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability across different platforms and environments.

3.     Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test plans.

4.     Collaborate with developers to ensure that test cases are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

5.     Analyze test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner, providing detailed information to facilitate debugging and resolution.

6.     Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide QA input and feedback.

7.     Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

8.     Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in a software development environment.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end QA testing of Workday HCM, Finance, and Integrations for Life Sciences domain clients.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Validate Workday configurations including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent modules.
• Conduct integration testing for Workday inbound and outbound interfaces with third-party systems (e.g., payroll vendors, benefits providers, regulatory systems).
• Ensure compliance with Life Sciences regulatory requirements such as GxP, FDA, and validation documentation standards.
• Perform data validation, security role testing, and business process framework (BPF) workflow testing.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression, and release testing cycles across multiple Workday implementations and enhancements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to resolve defects and ensure quality deliverables.
• Prepare validation documentation including test strategy, traceability matrix, and defect reports in compliance-driven environments.
• Participate in Workday releases, impact analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system quality and performance.

Manual Tester with Airlines Cargo domain experience

Skillset and Responsibilities of Agile QA

Skillset:

• Experienced test analyst or consultant with 6-10 years of experience in software testing

• Robust knowledge and prior experience in Airline Cargo domain

• Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe 

• Experience in requirement understanding and user story grooming 

• Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test

• Testing Tools: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect

• Prior experience in backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis

• Working knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc)

• Working experience in defect management process and tools 

• Working knowledge or experience in automation tools (Cypress, Selenium) will be nice to have

 Responsibilities:

 • Define the functional and technical approach to the implementation of the tests

• Help estimate the scope and size of the testing effort for each user story/product backlog within the PI Planning

• Analyze user stories and design/develop Test Models and Test cases

• Review test model and test cases with BA / Product Owner

• Develop backend test suites in readyAPI for user story testing 

• Identify frontend regression test cases and handover to TA team for automation

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for microservices 

• Execute automated backend regression test suites in pipeline for iterations and PROD releases

• Analyze of test results, defect logging and retest

• Work closely with developers to assess and advise on testability

• Test throughout the sprint

• Work collaboratively and productively with the product owner /Business owner and the customer to form acceptance criteria, Help to define definition of done (DoD)

• Present tested feature within iteration reviews and system demos 

• Attend and actively participate in PI Plannings  

• Participate all sprint planning , pre- and post sprint release ceremonies

• Meet with developers and BAs for short hand-off demonstrations and share the iteration demos with the devs 

• Attend sprint retrospectives and ART retrospectives 

• Help in Determining and advising which tests should be automated at which layer

• Help the developers or the TA team in writing automated tests and analyze the results of the automated tests

• As a Senior Software Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to test/qualify new products and enhancements to existing products as part of a cross functional team. You are required to verify and validate software changes for new products, enhancements and defects.
• Responsible for verifying that the software complies with the requirements and that the various customer use-cases can be satisfactorily met by the software.
• Work very closely with the project/baseline manager and development team to understand the architecture and design of the system and the interaction between various software sub-systems and components.
• Prepare and execute test plans for software releases, document and automate test cases to exercise the various features and capabilities of the software, identify and capture bugs and related information in the bug tracking database.
• Develop higher complexity test cases, test suite selection and execute all necessary testing activity required for a customer software release (negative and backward compatibility scenarios) per assignment, group objectives and product requirements.
• Document, enhance and maintain regression test procedures over the lifecycle of the software.
• Execute the software release test plans and certify that a software release has met the quality criterion(s) for various phase exits (pre-alpha, alpha, beta).
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Independently manage schedule for his/her projects and deliverables, seamlessly works with all key stakeholders to ensure delivery is never on the critical path
• Consistently look out for areas of improvement in all areas of software product development and processes, champions implementation of identified best practices

• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology
• Prior experience in supervisory control systems software would be a plus (but not mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of software test methodologies, tools, standards and processes.
• Good hands on programing experience in any of the scripting/programming languages (C++, C#, Java Script)
• Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience of working in global teams and interfacing with multiple stake holders

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience of 5+ years working as a Quality Assurance Analyst
• Experience with test management tools such as Quality Centre, JIRA, ADO.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium
• Knowledge of Non-Functional testing - Accessibility, Performance
• Educated to degree level, ideally in Computer Science
• ISEB certification in Testing (intermediate level) is advantageous
• Experience in participating in process change is advantageous
• Experience testing commercial websites in a creative and/or agency environment is advantageous
• Experience testing native iOS and Android applications is advantageous

As a Software QA +  Support engineer , you will be responsible for the test planning as well as writing and executing functional and non-functional test cases for sprints and releases. You will be a part of an Agile development team and would have full access to the complete development life cycle including opportunity to shape requirements. You will also be responsible to work with customers to help debug issues. We are looking for a relevant experience of about 5 years.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools. Ability to translate use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases.
• Experience working directly with customers and/or clients to debug issues or provide resolutions
• Ensures creation of test data to support test case execution and supports creation and maintenance of libraries of reusable test data sets.
• Reviews requirements specifications for testability and verifying/ensuring traceability of testing to requirements and vice versa
• Possess a detailed understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process including user requirement specifications and functional specifications for larger, complex applications.
• Experience working with project management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA is preferred.
• Good Verbal and Written communication skills to communicate quality cross-functionally and with customers in formal and informal settings.
