Role Summary:

Looking for a Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in IoT manual and automation testing, including API, protocol, and performance testing.

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Software Tester to be responsible for designing and executing tests to ensure software usability and reliability. The ideal candidate will conduct detailed testing, analyze results, and collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure product quality and performance.

Our products are intricately integrated with our customers’ sustainability strategies and corporate branding. The testing team plays a crucial role in maintaining compatibility with Microsoft Office products, APIs, and third-party integrations. You’ll be testing products that serve diverse account types and regions across the SuperHuman Race ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Analyze product requirements, business logic, and technical specifications for web and mobile platforms.
2. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for web, Android, and iOS applications.
3. Create detailed, reusable test cases for functional, regression, performance, and UI testing.
4. Conduct functional, UI/UX, cross-browser, and cross-platform testing.
5. Apply agile test methodologies and continuous integration practices.
6. Design and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium preferred).
7. Support automation using programming/scripting languages (PHP, JS, or similar).
8. Log and verify defects, assisting developers in issue recreation and resolution.
9. Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing to identify security risks.
10. Validate MySQL database operations (queries, data integrity, migrations).
11. Participate in test case automation (Selenium) and performance testing.
12. Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for automated testing during deployments.
13. Perform manual and automated test execution while maintaining documentation.
14. Stay updated on testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends.
15. Contribute to quality improvement through root cause analysis (CAPA, RCA, 5-Why, etc.).

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
3. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
4. Experience with Bootstrap and responsive web design principles.
5. Proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
6. Understanding of cross-platform optimization and mobile responsiveness.
7. Familiarity with front-end build tools (Webpack, Gulp, or similar).
8. Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
9. Basic understanding of PHP and RESTful API integration
10. Familiarity with image editing tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Gimp.
11. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in performance testing and automation frameworks.
2. Knowledge of security and API testing (REST APIs).
3. Ability to work with Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
4. Understanding of release processes and CI/CD best practices.
5. Strong mentoring and coaching abilities for team collaboration.

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a QA engineer experienced in writing test cases based on user stories, creating reports, testing the application from a design & usability perspective, and supporting both manual and automated testing throughout the lifecycle of the product. As a QA Engineer, you will ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.

Mandatory technical skills:

• Proven working experience (Min 3 years) in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box & black box testing and automated testing tools
• Technology hands-on Selenium, Javascript, and SQL Scripting is a must
• Experience with Restful API testing – Postman jetpack, RestAssured
• Experience with performance/load/stress testing
• Experience in all stages of application testing including UI, backend, functional, regression
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Comfortable working in a start-up environment

The position is based in Pune, India.

• Experience in testing web-based applications.
• Experience in developing test cases and scenarios based on PRD/BRD/Use cases.
• Experience in testing Web Services
• Logging defects/bugs in the defect management tool
• Tracking the defects and retire them with appropriate test execution
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Tools and Technologies:

• Should have strong knowledge and hands-on with SQL, Java, and Selenium
• Good/Fair knowledge of angular framework and Protractor with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on with any of the defect management tools like Jira/Bugzilla
• Knowledge of J-meter, Soap UI is a plus

1. Development and Test Automation experience through Test Driven Development (TDD)
2. Establishing and executing Automated testing strategy for mobile apps with Tools like Perfecto Mobile/Appium or Web Driver/Selenium, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.

A Software Testing Engineer is required to fully test the product or system to ensure it functions properly and meets the business needs. The job responsibilities include:

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and executing tests to verify that software runs properly and without defects on each platform requested and to handle test procedures efficiently to result in extreme product stability, product usability and performance.
• Responsible for creating test plans and test cases.
• Understanding how a feature is implemented to develop test cases for the functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions.
• Responsible for reviewing and analyzing project documentation to ensure product testability.
• Responsible for providing detailed testing status.

Skills  Required: 

• Should have experience in creating Test Plans, Test scripts, Test cases.
•  Knowledge in Selenium web drivers is mandatory. They should be able to write the scripts and run them in Selenium.
• Should have good experience in SQL databases.
• Good knowledge on System and Integration Test Cases.
• Good knowledge on System and Integration Testing.
• Able to write Test Scenarios.
• Able to Test the application independently.
• Hands on experience in UI testing 

Qualifications:

• B.Tech (Computer Science)

Requirements:

• Have worked on JS based automation framework i.e. Protractor or Puppeteer.
• Have minimum of 2 years of strong experience in front-end automation.
• Understand how Single Page Apps work.
• Experience of automating API tests (our current automation is via C#).
• Understand how CI/CD works.
• Learn-ability and a good team player.
