LogiNext is looking for a technically savvy and experienced senior developer to lead development efforts. You will help the team grow in size and skills, optimizing their code while working on your own. You will design, and develop the products that exceed client expectations in terms of value and benefit. You will collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.

You have hands-on experience in building secure, high-performing and scalable systems in Java. Your design intuition inclines towards usability, elegance and simplicity. You are biased towards open-source tools and existing frameworks. You have successfully shipped applications with beautiful front-end and intelligent backend. You have demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Co-lead end-to-end design and development efforts for high-volume, low-latency applications for real-time event based systems Lead and direct senior software engineers, define software architecture, collaborate with other teams to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity and potential risks to successful implementation of platform modules and features Deliver high-availability and high-performance platform using microservices architecture Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in code, and devise solutions to production and non-production issues Keep an eye out for open source projects and technology trends that can be introduced in the products Transform business functionalities and production specifications into technical requirements and low level design Be hands-on, adopt a practical approach to software and technology Work with product management and other teams to build highly scalable products

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 8 to 10 years of design and development experience in scalable and distributed enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JPA, Spring framework and RESTful web services Excellent coding skills in Java Experience in managing, implementing and optimizing big data stores such as MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch Experience in deploying applications and using various managed services provided by cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Experience in front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AngularJS, React and D3.js is preferred Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high collaboration and leadership

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field. Relevant experience of at least 3 years in lieu of above if from a different stream of education.

• Well-versed in and 3+ hands-on demonstrable experience with: ▪ Stream & Batch Big Data Pipeline Processing using Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink.
  ▪ Distributed Cloud Native Computing including Server less Functions
  ▪ Relational, Object Store, Document, Graph, etc. Database Design & Implementation
  ▪ Micro services Architecture, API Modeling, Design, & Programming

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience in Apache Spark using Scala and/or Java.

• Ability to write executable code for Services using Spark RDD, Spark SQL, Structured Streaming, Spark MLLib, etc. with deep technical understanding of Spark Processing Framework.

• In-depth knowledge of standard programming languages such as Scala and/or Java.

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience in one or more libraries & frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Akka, Apache Storm, Apache Nifi, Zookeeper, Hadoop ecosystem (i.e., HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Oozie & Hive), etc.; extra points if you can demonstrate your knowledge with working examples.

• 3+ years of hands-on development experience in one or more Relational and NoSQL datastores such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, HBase, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Neo4J, etc.

• Practical knowledge of distributed systems involving partitioning, bucketing, CAP theorem, replication, horizontal scaling, etc.

• Passion for distilling large volumes of data, analyze performance, scalability, and capacity performance issues in Big Data Platforms.

• Ability to clearly distinguish system and Spark Job performances and perform spark performance tuning and resource optimization.

• Perform benchmarking/stress tests and document the best practices for different applications.

• Proactively work with tenants on improving the overall performance and ensure the system is resilient, and scalable.

• Good understanding of Virtualization & Containerization; must demonstrate experience in technologies such as Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, OpenShift, Anthos, Oracle VirtualBox, Vagrant, etc.

• Well-versed with demonstrable working experience with API Management, API Gateway, Service Mesh, Identity & Access Management, Data Protection & Encryption.

  Hands-on experience with demonstrable working experience with DevOps tools and platforms viz., Jira, GIT, Jenkins, Code Quality & Security Plugins, Maven, Artifactory, Terraform, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Spinnaker, etc.

• Well-versed in AWS and/or Azure or and/or Google Cloud; must demonstrate experience in at least FIVE (5) services offered under AWS and/or Azure or and/or Google Cloud in any categories: Compute or Storage, Database, Networking & Content Delivery, Management & Governance, Analytics, Security, Identity, & Compliance (or) equivalent demonstrable Cloud Platform experience.

• Good understanding of Storage, Networks and Storage Networking basics which will enable you to work in a Cloud environment.

• Good understanding of Network, Data, and Application Security basics which will enable you to work in a Cloud as well as Business Applications / API services environment.

Essential Requirements:

• 5+ years of Software development experience
• Hands on development experience using Java technology stack with focus on architecture and design.
• Hands-on in Java Programming, J2EE, Spring or SpringBoot, Hibernate, RestAPI, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Oracle Database, PL/SQL
• Experience in application servers with prime focus on Tomcat.
• Experience in messaging systems such as RabbitMQ.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments. Must be hands on with Object Oriented concepts along with passion for design patterns and applicability.
• Relevant experience in Java frameworks like Spring Microservices, Spring-Boot, Hibernate, JPA etc.
• Understanding of developer testing practices and the differences between unit, functional, and system tests,
• Should have working experience in a CI/CD environment where build & test is automated.
• Should have working experience in tools like Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
• Should have used testing Frameworks such as JUnit, Selenium
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts or principles
• Ability to work effectively as part of global team
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience in Azure and AWS Development and Deployment, Active Directory, Containerization.
