As a Software Engineer in Test, you’ll be testing complex scenarios, end-to-end, using automation frameworks like Selenium.
Must-haves:

Proficiency in either Java or Python.

At least 4 years of experience in working on automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber.

Excellent understanding of Feature, Regression, and Smoke Testing.

Clear understanding of RESTFul API’s and building test frameworks for the same

Excellent in finding testing scenarios, catching corner cases of the feature that you would be testing.

Ability to Manage and Test different Projects simultaneously.

Tech/ BS in Computer Science (or have done relevant courses for the same)

Good in analysis and solving problems.

Understand the design and end-to-end workflow of the feature/product specifications.

Coming up with all the testing scenarios even before the start of development, after going through the design and specifications

Keeping the test suite up to date with the latest changes

Documentation - Keeping all the testing scenarios in the documented format so that anyone can test the scenarios manually if required

The Platform Team is responsible for the core order processing and workflow
automation products that UrbanPiper builds. The team owns a suite of services, a
customer facing application and data pipelines that enable our customers to take

Your role:
As a Lead Software Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for the design,
development, and maintenance of functional components in our core order processing
and workflow automation products. You will be working with a team of backend and
frontend engineers to build new features and improve existing ones.

● Take technical responsibility for a part of the product/module all throughout the
SDLC ranging from design to implementation and operation.
