We are a full-stack conversational AI company from building products to delivering bots for our clients. We are looking for a front-end engineer who can help us build the next generation of enterprise-grade conversational AI platform.

What will you do every day?

As a front-end tech lead you will be responsible for building the Haptik platform which is used by people across the globe. You will be working closely with the product, design and platform team on a day to day basis and be responsible for the look and feel of the product. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.

Ok, you're sold, but what are we looking for in the perfect candidate?

- Have a keen eye for detail and passionate about UI and UX

- Has worked with a team of FE engineers to set tech processes and standards.

- Has experience in mentoring junior engineers.

- Have a solid understanding of front-end technologies especially React

- Build, maintain and gate-keep the platform tools

- Work closely with the PM and designers to deliver high-quality features

- Work closely with the backend engineers to understand the Interkat Platform and build for scale

- High-level estimating and scoping/breaking down of tasks

- Document features to make them easily understandable to clients

- Participate in code reviews, automated and functional testing, and other aspects of our quality assurance process

- Use and promote standard good coding practices

- Fully participate in a scrum-based, agile development team

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

- Work experience around optimizing build artifacts and performance monitoring

- Following security standards when using cookies/others to store user information etc.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience working on React.js

- Prior experience of leading/mentoring a team is a plus

- Knowledge of flux and redux

- Must have extensive experience working on Javascript, HTML, CSS, animations and UI/UX principles.

- Knowledge of backend technologies is a plus

- Good attention to detail, pixel perfect designs

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent

- Good Communication skills

- Hustler with the passion for writing good code

- Team player

- Must have experience in working in an agile environment, exposure to tools like Jira would be an added benefit.

We are looking for a React JS/React-Native developer interested in building performant and pixel-perfect web applications. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both web and mobile platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
• Reach out to the open-source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—ReactJS moves fast and often breaks things.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
• Build and deliver features end to end. (frontend and backend)

Skills

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript and TypeScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of functional or object-oriented programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Understanding of Firebase cloud functions, firestore and offline storage
• Experience with automated testing suites, like (Jest or Mocha)

About the Role:

3+ years of experience in frontend technologies and progressive web applications development

Expert in using of design patterns, data structures and algorithms

Should have sound understanding of design architecture and principles, coding frameworks like react.js, angular.js, vue.js, node.js, next, js, express.js etc.

Experience with popular JS libraries like Ember, Babel, Typescript, Webpack, Socket etc.

Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming concepts, core JavaScript concepts like scope/closures, the event loop and asynchronous callbacks, promises

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5 CSS3 JSON, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

Knowledge of Redux, React.js and its core principles

Good experience on Web Service Integration ( REST, JSON, XML), Cloud technologies - AWS, FCM

Proficient with debugging and testing tools to troubleshoot and optimize the UI

Exposure to scm tools like git, CI/CD of android systems, code coverage tools like SonarQube, etc.

Good to know hybrid platforms like Cordova, Ionic, React Native, Flutter, etc

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field from a reputed institute.
• Experience of 3 - 6 years as a Frontend Engineer.
• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript
• Proficient in ReactJS
• Good Exposure to AngularJS and VueJS
• Familiarity with CSS, Restful API modern build pipelines and development tools
• Good understanding of design patterns and a strong grasp of Material Design guidelines 

  
  Preferred Skills

  • Experience in developing and deploying applications on AWS, and Firebase. Experience with popular state management, frontend, and server-side rendering libraries

  • Familiarity with Micro-frontends Architecture, Material UI, Ant Design, and GraphQL
