About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python/Django, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies, along with strong problem-solving skills and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop backend services using Django and Python.

•Architect and implement microservices-based solutions for scalability and maintainability.

•Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for efficient data storage and caching.

•Build and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure robust API design principles.

•Implement system design best practices for high availability and fault tolerance.

•Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.

•Integrate with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for hosting and infrastructure management.

•Apply security best practices to protect data and application integrity.

•Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery.

•Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards.

Required Skills & Expertise

•Django/Python – Advanced proficiency in backend development.

We typically build and deploy applications as cloud-native Kubernetes microservices and integrate with scalable technologies such as Kafka in Docker container environments. Required Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Have experience working and strong understanding of object-oriented programing and cloud technologies
• End to end experience delivering production ready code with Java8, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and API libraries
• Strong experience with unit and integration testing of the Spring Boot APIs.
• Strong understanding and production experience of RESTful API's and microservice architecture.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and NoSQL databases and experience with writing abstraction layers to communicate with the databases.

Nice to have's (but not required):

• Exposure to Kotlin or other JVM programming languages
• Strong understanding and production experience working with Docker container environments
• Strong understanding and production experience working with Kafka
• Cloud Environments: AWS, GCP or Azure

Desired Candidate Profile: A .NET Fullstack Developer with at least 5 years of experience, who thrives on challenges. In this position, you will be responsible for creating high-quality testable code and working with Analysts and Designers to analyze customer requirements. We are looking for individuals who can think out of the box and do not hesitate to go above and beyond to keep up with a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to come up with creative solutions.

• Proficient in the following technologies: .Net Core, Angular JS, NodeJS, ASPNet MVC, JQuery, AJAX, Webservices/API, SQL Server.
• Proficient in AngularJS is a must.
• Excellent skill in writing queries and SQL Development.
• Experience in Scrum and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Preferably prior experience with CI/CD automation and Jenkins.
• Prior experience in working with multi-tenant nested architecture and Microservices.
• Prior experience in working with product development for Healthcare applications based on US healthcare preferred

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
