Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer III (Backend), you will operate as a senior

individual contributor owning mission-critical backend systems. You will design

scalable architectures, solve complex distributed systems problems, and influence

engineering standards across teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

 Own backend systems end-to-end, from design and implementation to

production reliability and long-term evolution.



Design scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-latency backend architectures for real

time and event-driven use cases.



Lead system design decisions including data models, service boundaries, async

workflows, and scalability strategies.



Build and operate high-throughput services handling millions of events, requests,

or messages per day.

 Own reliability metrics such as p95/p99 latency, uptime, error budgets, and

participate in incident resolution and post-mortems.

Drive architectural migrations including monolith to microservices and

synchronous to asynchronous flows.

 Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to translate complex

requirements into robust backend solutions.



Improve developer productivity by contributing to internal platforms, tooling,

CI/CD pipelines, and coding standards.



Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance

without direct people management.



Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, cost inefficiencies, and scalability

risks and resolve them at the system level.

Sureify drives customer engagement between the customer and their insurance company by incorporating web & mobile apps, into the insurance product experience. Our product is controlled by our backend dashboard so insurers can get the latest IoT data streaming in. We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. F5 is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with experience in building FIPS-ready cryptography-based security solutions at scale. You will participate in the design and implementation of F5's Edge Computing platform that is used to deploy global, scalable and secure applications. Your work includes, but not limited to, design, implementation, deployment, operational management, and debugging of security services of F5's platform.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and business leaders to understand the requirements for providing FIPS-ready cryptography-based security services for F5's platform, design solutions, and implement them
• You will develop software for identity related security foundations of Volterra platform - Identity Management, Key Management, Secure Bootstrapping, Authentication, Authorization, Secrets Management, etc.
• You will perform necessary compliance tasks – including building and executing the test suites – required for making systems and libraries ready for FIPS
• You will vet various open source and closed source technologies, components, libraries, tools etc. and help build a highly available, highly scalable and easily manageable system
