Position Overview: Front-End Developer (Next.js)

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Next.js and React.js. The ideal candidate will build and maintain scalable, responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies and best practices in performance, SEO, and rendering techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, scalable web applications using React.js and Next.js
• Implement CSR, SSR, and SSG using Next.js best practices
• Build reusable, modular UI components following clean front-end architecture
• Integrate and manage REST APIs for data retrieval, caching, and error handling (React Query or similar)
• Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and accessibility
• Collaborate with backend engineers and UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user interfaces
• Debug, test, and document code to ensure maintainability and scalability

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Next.js fundamentals (routing, rendering techniques, API routes)
• Proficiency with React Hooks and understanding of component lifecycle
• Solid experience integrating REST APIs and handling errors effectively
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as React Query, Redux, or Zustand
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
• 7–10 years of front-end development experience

Position Overview:

As a Frontend Developer at FatakPay, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into responsive and intuitive user interfaces. Working closely with our design and backend development teams, you will play a key role in crafting visually appealing and highly functional web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement and refine user interfaces. Develop responsive and cross-browser-compatible web applications.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with responsive design and development.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

About the role

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a senior frontend engineer to help us scale Plum, and spearhead the frontend of our product.

You will have a direct impact on the customer experience through the design and implementation of new features and functionalities in our product. You'll work as part of a small but rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible, creative improvements to our product. You'll be in charge of reviewing the implementation of applications following code standards and style guides. You would analyze and build UI Pattern Libraries (Design Systems, UI Kits, etc.)

• Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.
• Run test-harness to guarantee the structure, integrity, and design of the application.
• Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.
• Optimize JavaScript implementations to ensure that code remains performant.
• Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.
• Ability to push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Comfortable with Responsive Web Design and Development and weave out beautiful code in React.
• Strong product and design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.
• Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.
• Understand complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks.
• Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.

• 2-5 years of experience developing web applications with modern JavaScript programming frameworks, tooling, and libraries.
• Experience working with Angular or React.js JavaScript Framework.
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and related web technologies.
• Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript and tooling (e.g., Angular, React, Redux, Node).
• Experience with API integration and development.
• Experience developing reusable components.
• Proven experience in understanding complex user needs with multiple stakeholders and providing practical solutions that can work in production.
• Experience working on mobile apps is a plus.
