Job Summary:

As a Front-End Developer at ICL Immigration, your primary responsibility is to develop high-performance web solutions that enhance user experience and align with our brand. You will work to ensure fast load times, responsive designs, and successful WordPress-to-React/Next.js migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Build and maintain responsive web applications using React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Implement best practices for code structure, maintainability, and scalability.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve website metrics, such as page load times, rendering speed, and overall performance. Optimize front-end code to ensure a smooth and fast user experience.
• WordPress Migration: Lead the migration of WordPress websites to React/Next.js frameworks. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data transfer and feature parity, minimizing downtime.
• UI/UX Implementation: Implement user-friendly layouts and interactive elements, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams—developers, product owners, and designers—to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure successful project completion.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing of web applications to identify and fix issues quickly. Ensure the final product meets performance standards and is free of critical bugs.
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects and deadlines, maintaining clear documentation and following best practices for version control and deployment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven Experience: Front-end development using React.js and Next.js.
• WordPress Migration Expertise: Familiarity with WordPress-to-React/Next.js migration processes is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

We are looking for a React JS Developer responsible for developing and maintaining rich user interfaces for modern internet-based web applications. Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface for a web application, with a focus on performance. Your main duties will include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional application following the design patterns and best practices. You will work in a team with the back-end developers and communicate with the API using standard methods. A thorough understanding of all of the components of the platform and infrastructure is required.

Experience Required : 3 + Years

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization

• Own end to end product modules/features (from the requirement to going live)- Design & code review, troubleshoot & help team members on issues.
• Gather requirements by interacting directly with the end-users.
• Research on open source framework/technology required for developing the feature/application.

• Work closely with design, product management, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.

Technical Requirements-

• At least 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert, or a frontend engineer
• Be familiar with Responsive Web Design, common Web UX patterns and anti-patterns
• Be able to tell good design from bad design
• Be able to write clean, maintainable code which others can work on
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap, and Material UI
• Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
• You have mastery in DOM manipulation (including jQuery) and understand components, CTAs
• Know browser behaviour, performance, compatibility and cross-browser issues
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git,
• You take pride in working on advanced CSS, animations and responsiveness
• You seem to have good architectural & design skills
• Ability to own, end to end responsibility - right from the requirement to release
• Ability to produce bug-free and production-grade code
• Be great at debugging, including identifying page speed and performance bottlenecks, using tools like Chrome Dev Tools, React Dev Tools, etc.
