Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Development

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SDET with strong expertise in test automation for modern web and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in frontend, backend, and API automation, along with exposure to distributed systems and cloud-native environments. Golang experience is preferred, though Java candidates willing to learn Golang are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for frontend and backend systems
• Perform frontend automation using Playwright and Selenium
• Develop and execute API automation tests to validate backend services
• Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and service interactions
• Ensure test coverage across microservices and distributed systems
• Debug and analyze failures across multiple services and environments
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with DevOps teams to validate deployments in containerized environments

Mandatory Skill Set

• Programming Language: Golang (preferred) or Java (must be willing to learn Golang)
• Frontend Automation: Playwright
• UI Automation: Selenium
• Backend Automation: Strong understanding of backend testing concepts
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with Rest Assured or similar tools
• Strong understanding of API concepts and terminology
• Experience working with distributed systems and microservices
• Containerization: Docker
• Orchestration: Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across services

Good to Have

• Experience in cloud environments
• Exposure to performance or security testing
• Knowledge of test data management and mocking frameworks

Required Skills 

1) Good experience in AngularJs or Angular 9+ Version 

2) Hand on Node.JS./Express JS 

3) Database : MYSQL/MongoDB 

4) Experience in Java Script, Typescript. 

5)Good experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Jquery 

6) Experience working in an Agile environment. 

7) Good communication skills.

about the role - full stack developer:

• you will work on a disruptive product that is in its early stages.
• you are someone with experience in building products that have significant user base/revenue and robust backend systems running in production catering to real-world users.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering with applied knowledge of restful api design principles and best practices are a must. 
• an ideal candidate would have exceptional application development skills with experience working with nodejs, react, typescript, cloud (aws), mongodb amongst other in-demand technologies.
• having a good understanding of cloud technologies, deployments, backend & frontend end-to-end operations is key for this role.

skills required:

• experience with building and deploying cloud-based backend systems. operating the backend at low latency, high availability, and quality
• experience with developing distributed systems and scalable real-time applications
• excellent programming skills in node.js, react, express.js with a solid understanding of event-driven architecture
• understanding of sql and nosql databases. experience with designing and maintaining scalable databases
• experience with 3rd party libraries and api integrations. eg. stripe, razorpay, etc
• strong problem-solving skills with an understanding of core algorithms and complexity analysis
• solid understanding of operating system fundamentals, networking and concurrency concepts
• experience with aws technologies like lambda, api gateway, beanstalk, ecs, ec2 etc
• experience with docker, kubernetes good to have

•  Defect Fixing (Defect analysis, route cause identification, Code change, testing, obtaining user confirmation and release process)
• Support tasks (Ticket analysis, data uploading, performance tuning, job monitoring, any analysis task, ReportGeneration and etc.,)
• Level 2 and Level 3 support (Support process adherence)
• Functional and technical or solution documentation preparation
• Execution will either be Waterfall or Agile
• The process needs to be followed as defined by RBEI or RBEI’s Customer
• Preparation & participation in the project status and review meeting
