Job Description: we are looking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively via email and phone.

Responsibilities:

• Attending inbound calls involves receiving and responding to incoming calls from customers

• Provide accurate and relevant information regarding products, services, company policies, and procedures.

• Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely, clear, and professional manner.

• Ensure all customer emails are acknowledged and resolved

• Listen actively to customer concerns, complaints, and issues, ensuring full understanding and empathy.

• Resolve customer grievances and complaints quickly and effectively, escalating to higher management when necessary.

• Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction after issue resolution and that the solution meets their expectations.

• Identify recurring customer issues and proactively work with internal teams to suggest improvements or preventative measures.

• Assist customers with order tracking, billing inquiries, account management, and product-related questions.

• Inform customers about order status, shipment tracking, delivery delays, or product/service updates.

• Accurately document all customer interactions and complaints in the CRM system, ensuring a clear audit trail.

• Maintain detailed logs of follow-up actions, resolutions, and outcomes.

• Collect customer feedback and report trends to management for continuous service improvement

Procurement Management

• Oversee and manage the procurement of raw materials and packaging materials for cosmetic production.
• Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with new and existing suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to maintain seamless production schedules.
• Conduct market research and attend trade fairs/exhibitions across India to source innovative products and stay updated on industry trends.

Production Coordination

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure availability of materials for efficient manufacturing.
• Develop and implement production schedules, optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics to ensure smooth material flow and inventory management.

Research and Development Support

• Work with the R&D team to identify and procure suitable raw materials for new product formulations.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in cosmetics and skincare to support innovation and development.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that procured materials meet regulatory and company quality standards.
• Work closely with the quality control team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Budgeting and Cost Management

• Perform cost-benefit analyses to optimize spending and secure the best value.
• Conduct forecasting and variance analysis to align procurement with financial goals.
• Review and approve expenses related to procurement, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to meet organizational goals.
• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in procurement in the cosmetics, beauty, or skincare industry.
• Strong knowledge of raw material and packaging material procurement.
• Proficiency in production scheduling, market research, and supplier negotiations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and team collaboration.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards in cosmetics production is an advantage.

•  Assist in the design and development of user interfaces for web applications.

Shift Timing

You will get an opportunity to work with Global customers (APAC, EMEA, and North America) So this would require you to work in monthly rotational shifts.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for a highly technical individual, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and is comfortable working closely with customers. 

Our ideal candidate will have

• Excellent analytical, diagnostic skills, and problem-solving skills
• High motivation for a role that combines deep technical and customer-management dimensions
• Confidence speaking and presenting in a collaborative customer setting
• 4+ years of software development/consulting/support experience, preferably in a number of distinct industries/verticals
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations
• Competence in at least one of the following languages (in no particular order): Java, C#, Python, Node.js (JavaScript), Ruby, Go.
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus
• Should have the strong capability with, minimally, both English and any local language - as necessary

As a core member of the MongoDB Professional Services team, you will

• Contribute to helping migrate customers from self-hosted MongoDB on-prem/cloud to Atlas
• Contribute to customer implementations at any or all phases of the application lifecycle: portfolio assessment, application planning, and design, deployment architectures, development and build, integration and release configuration, system testing, production operations, application optimization, and best practices adoption
• Work as part of a wider delivery team comprising fellow consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams
• Cultivate your individual MongoDB reputation as a trusted advisor to guide MongoDB and our customers into the future
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the direction of the MongoDB product roadmap
