- Firsthand experience cutting edge networking technologies

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience.
- Confident knowledge of networking fundamentals (BGP, Routing, EVPN/VXLAN, L2/L3 forwarding, etc…)
- 4+ years of experience deploying and operating mission-critical networks
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot outages

Job Description
- Assessing existing customer systems and/or cloud environment to determine the best migration approach and supporting tools used
- Build a secure and compliant cloud environment, with a proven enterprise operating model, on-going cost optimisation, and day-to-day infrastructure management
- Provide and implement cloud solutions to reduce operational overhead and risk, and automates common activities, such as change requests, monitoring, patch management, security, and backup services, and provides full-lifecycle services to provision, run, and support their infrastructure

Position Overview & Priorities:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems and software using Infrastructure as Code. This can include the provision of cloud instances, streamlining deployments, configuring virtual instances, scaling out DB servers.
Primary responsibility would be:
- Oversight of all server environments, from Dev through Production.
- Work on an infrastructure that is 100% on AWS.
