VB.NET Developer (5+ Years Experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled VB.NET developer with 5+ years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in VB.NET and the .NET Framework, along with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying scalable and maintainable software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex applications using VB.NET and the .NET Framework.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and user-friendly applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET (Web Forms or MVC).
• Build and interact with databases using ADO.NET.
• Create and implement reusable components and libraries.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in VB.NET and the .NET Framework.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a VB.NET developer.
• In-depth knowledge of VB.NET syntax, data types, control flow, and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Strong understanding of the .NET Framework, including the CLR, CLI, and BCL.
• Experience with ASP.NET (Web Forms or MVC) for building web applications.
• Proficiency in ADO.NET for database access.
• Experience with Windows Forms for desktop application development (a plus).
• Familiarity with web services (SOAP and REST) and their integration.
• Understanding of XML and its use in data exchange and configuration.
• Knowledge of SQL for interacting with relational databases.

Preferred Skills:

• Work with internal business teams and management to define requirements and develop technical specifications.
• You will be creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional app.

• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, complexity analysis, databases, networking, and distributed systems.
• 3-4 years of experience with product development (.ASP.Net, C#.Net, WCF, MVC, SQL Server development applications, version control, CI/CD pipelines).
• Should have a strong online presence on different forums like stack overflow etc, Github etc.
• Excellent verbal and written skills. The ability to explain sophisticated architectures to engineers, product managers, and support & operation executives. You should also be able to write a proposal for your idea/solutions and take feedback from the team.
• Previous work experience at a product-based company or startup would be a bonus.

Role: D365 CE / CRM Developer

Experience: 3-7 years

Location: Hyderabad (Initially remote)

You will need to:

• Configure and customize Dynamics 365.
• Have a strong understanding on one of these 3 areas Sales, Service, Marketing & Field Service.
• Possess strong know how on the Microsoft Biz apps data model to perform end to end architectural design and review.
• Pose an in-depth understanding of the Dynamics capabilities to fit business logic inside Dynamics 365 in a seamless way to attain customer requirement with no adverse impact.
