Education ERP Developer (Core PHP, MySQL & AI Integration)

We are seeking an experienced software developer with a strong background in education ERP development for universities, colleges, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining ERP modules using core PHP, MySQL, and related technologies. Experience in handling large-scale bulk data processing, database optimization, and AI-powered solutions will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain education ERP applications for universities, colleges, and schools.
• Develop and enhance modules such as Admissions, Student Management, Examination, Attendance, Fees, Finance, HR, Payroll, Inventory, LMS, Hostel, and Academic Management.
• Handle large-scale bulk data operations, including student imports, examination records, fee transactions, and report generation.
• Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and database scripts for high-volume data processing.
• Analyze and improve application performance through database and code optimization.
• Develop and integrate APIs with third-party systems, including payment gateways, SMS, email services, and government education portals.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to scalable ERP solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement effective solutions.
• Implement AI-based features such as chatbots, intelligent reporting, predictive analytics, document processing, or automation tools where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Core PHP development.
• Extensive experience with MySQL database design, optimization, indexing, and query tuning.
• Proven experience handling bulk data processing and large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and database performance optimization.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.

Domain Expertise

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in education ERP software development.
• Hands-on experience working with university, college, or school management ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of academic workflows and education management processes.
• Experience managing high-volume student, examination, and finance-related data.

AI Experience (Preferred)

• Experience working on AI-powered applications, ChatGPT/OpenAI integrations, automation tools, or machine learning-based features.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted workflows, intelligent search, document processing, reporting, or analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with AI APIs and modern AI development tools is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB is desirable.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale ERP products serving multiple institutions.
