About the Role:

Egnyte is looking for a high-energy individual who is experienced in building SaaS products and leading top-notch engineers. Your team will be responsible for delivering enhancements and improvements to Egnyte’s Hybrid-Cloud product suite. You will build and grow the team and keep them engaged and productive while tackling complexities of integrating diverse subsystems and collaborating in a global team environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, grow and hire software engineers
• Work closely with product managers and program managers in order to deliver a best-in-class product in adherence to schedule
• Be highly hands-on through design and code reviews, customer issue triage, and developing domain expertise

Must-Have qualifications:

• 3+ years of managerial experience and 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise-class software engineering
• Previous experience in leading and growing cross-functional development teams of 10-20 individual contributors
• Proven track record of delivering top quality software under tight deadlines, with agility, in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment
• Hands-on experience in developing/designing large scale distributed systems using Nodejs, JavaScript
• Exceptional organization skills and interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience is developing and delivering highly scalable data storage and file serving products for collaborative and interactive use cases.
• Demonstrated abilities in applying data-driven insights towards product quality and scalability improvements, usage and adoption

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer for a client of ours, that is headquartered in USA and is operating in the field of health tech space, offering an innovative solution for dominate health issues. The company is well funded and backed by investors like Sequoia Capital.

Experience Required

5+ years experience, having worked on both frontend and backend development - hands on development experience from front end, middle tier and back end.

3+ years of experience building Restful web service using node.js

3+ years of experience for writing batch/cron jobs using Python and shell scripting

3+ years of experience in web application development using javascript and ReactJs

Have understanding of javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Rest based applications

Experience in database techs - mongodb, mysql, redis, elastic search

Experience of building applications deployed on the cloud using AWS, Docker and kubernetes

Education Experience

We are looking for a seasoned full-stack developer(JavaScript) to build out and manage our Web and API infrastructure. Successful candidates will have a minimum of three years’ recent experience with all of the skills listed below.

Our project entails implementing our pre-approved UI, constructing our API, connecting the two, and setting up our cloud infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design.

• Design and implementation of the overall web architecture
• “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Design and construction of our REST API and integration with front-end
• Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment
• Write clean, great quality, scalable and maintainable code with thorough testing
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain the products and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality

At least two years’ experience with:

• Writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Being up on latest practices is a must, e.g., HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6 (minimum)
• A relevant experience in back-end programming with NodeJS
