Position: Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
• Work with Core Java and Advanced Java concepts to build reliable backend solutions.
• Develop and deploy applications using Spring Boot framework.
• Design and implement RESTful Microservices with best practices in scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Manage code versions effectively using Git/GitHub.
• Ensure code quality by integrating and analyzing with SonarQube.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling).
• Hands-on experience in Advanced Java (JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JPA/Hibernate).
• Proven experience with Spring Boot for application development.
• Knowledge and experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and Web Services.
• Proficient in Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Experience with Sonar Qube for code quality and security checks.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Build responsive frontends using React
• Create robust backend APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps)
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code

Requirements:

• 4.5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and React.js
• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Must-haves:

• Clear understanding of RESTFul API’s and building test frameworks for the same

• Excellent in finding testing scenarios, catching corner cases of the feature that you would be testing.

• Ability to Manage and Test different Projects simultaneously.

• Tech/ BS in Computer Science (or have done relevant courses for the same)

• Good in analysis and solving problems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Passionate about working in a startup.

It would be a plus if:

• If you have built an automated test framework for at least one product from the scratch

• Understanding of how the web works

• Understanding of MVC frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Python Django

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand the design and end-to-end workflow of the feature/product specifications.

• Coming up with all the testing scenarios even before the start of development, after going through the design and specifications

• Keeping the test suite up to date with the latest changes

• Documentation - Keeping all the testing scenarios in the documented format so that anyone can test the scenarios manually if required

• Key role in keeping the production bugs count to zero
