Senior Facade Designer
Position: Senior Façade Designer
Role Objective: To lead and direct the Façade Design team in the development of innovative, high-performance façade, glazing, and cladding solutions. The role is fundamentally responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and successful delivery of all façade design outputs, from conception through to execution.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Design Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead the comprehensive design process for major façade projects, establishing innovative concepts and solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to the entire design team.
Technical Governance & Final Approval:
- Serve as the final technical authority for the review and approval of all detailed façade drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all designs rigorously adhere to architectural plans, engineering requirements, and both local and international building codes.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage and lead project teams, comprising designers and engineers, to achieve project objectives.
- Act as the principal liaison between the design department, project execution teams, and clients.
Innovation & Quality Assurance:
- Govern the quality control process and direct rigorous performance assessments of all façade systems.
- Remain at the forefront of industry advancements and champion the implementation of new technologies and cost-effective solutions.
Mandatory Candidate Profile:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree/Diploma in (Civil /Mechanical) Engineering or a closely related technical field is mandatory.
- Experience: The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 7-10 years of extensive and progressive experience in façade design.
- Technical Knowledge: Expert-level proficiency in advanced CAD software and façade design tools is required , along with profound expertise in diverse façade materials and systems.
Reporting Structure:
- The position reports directly to the Design Manager or the Head of Façade Design.
