Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building microservices, implementing event-driven architectures, and working with distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Build and manage event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate applications with databases and third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in Java application development.

Technical Requirements (what)

·        Advanced knowledge of data analysis and modeling principles: KPI Tree creation, Reporting best practices, predictive analytics, statistical and ML based modeling techniques

·        Work Experience of 20+ years in analytics inclusive of 5+ years of experience of leading a team. Candidates from Insurance Industry are preferred.

·        Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.

·        Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.

·        Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people, and projects simultaneously.

·        The right candidate will also be proficient and experienced with the following tools/programs:

§ Experience with working on big data environments: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop.

§ Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target.

§ Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, chart.js.
